2.2 to AN Cook, that's the breakthrough and it's a lovely diving catch from the captain, reaching low to his right at slip as Cook fences uncertainly off the back foot. Nothing more than a probing line and length, but Vaas has his reward for eight accurate deliveries. 2/1
10 | 1 | 58 | 0 | 5.80 | 27 | 5 | 0 | 2 | 0 | |

7.2 to IR Bell, nailed plumb in front of the stumps, as Bell pays the price for his busy footwork! He shuffled across to work the ball through midwicket, but chose the wrong ball for the shot. He was struck on the kneeroll in front of middle and off, and Rudi Koertzen's slow death finger does the rest. 25/2 17.1 to P Mustard, poor stroke. Mustard steps to the off side and tries to scoop this slower ball over fine leg, but gets a top edge which is safely snaffled in the covers. 56/3 49.4 to OA Shah, what a catch that is. Cracked on the front foot by Shah, aerially, and Chamara Silva dived high to his left at a wide mid-off to cling on. A superb take to end a very fine innings. 230/8
10 | 0 | 45 | 2 | 4.50 | 29 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 0 | |
18.3 to KP Pietersen, banged in short of a length, it climbs onto Pietersen who pulls this from outside the off stump straight to Jayawardene at midwicket. 61/4 34.6 to PD Collingwood, full, straight, and gone! Collingwood was aiming leg-side having shuffled across his stumps, but the ball kept low and beat him for pace. A big, big breakthrough. The skipper is sunk. 139/5
10 | 0 | 49 | 1 | 4.90 | 22 | 1 | 0 | 2 | 0 | |
35.5 to RS Bopara, A soft dismissal, and a big one too. Bopara steps way across his stumps in an attempt to work one off his pads, but he misses it entirely and loses his leg stump! Now England really are in trouble. 142/6

1.2 to WU Tharanga, England strike early! Just outside off, a thick edge and Cook takes a tumbling catch to his left at second slip. 9/1 5.4 to ST Jayasuriya, width outside off and Jayasuriya lashes a punch off the back foot to cover where Bell holds on to a stinger. 21/2

12.6 to KC Sangakkara, wide, Sangakkara flashes, gets a thick edge and Mustard takes a good, low catch diving to his left.. 38/3 14.1 to LPC Silva, a first baller for Silva, undone by a bit more bounce, he can't get over the ball, it takes the shoulder of the bat and loops gently to backward point. 38/4

23.6 to DPMD Jayawardene, stopped on him, he tried to turn it onto the leg-side and sends a leading edge to Pietersen who takes a very tidy catch indeed. 90/6 33.5 to WPUJC Vaas, angling across the left hander, swinging away, found the outside edge as he chased it. Mustard made no mistake. 126/8

22.3 to TM Dilshan, excellent delivery, turning back in and getting the batsman to drive - the ball crashing through the gate and onto the sticks. 90/5 32.2 to MF Maharoof, outside off, driven back to the bowler, and there's an excellent catch, snapped low. 121/7 |
