1.4 to PD Salt, what a stunner! Amazing catch from Alex Carey. Full at middle, Salt looks to clear the on side again, doesn't quite all of it, Carey moves to his right from mid-on, leaps and grabs it one-handed high to his right. Spectacular stuff. Who says he needs the gloves!. 13/1 5.2 to JL Smith, Carey again! Simple chance this time. Poor shot from Smith, basically just chips a full delivery straight to the fielder. Trying to clear the on side, but gave that away. 43/2 46.4 to LS Livingstone, picks out deep square leg! Round the wicket, back of a length angling in, a slower ball, Livingstone went with the angle as he pulled but got very little timing. Nicely bowled. 316/6

40.6 to JC Buttler, gone now though! Massive wicket. Tries to clear the leg side again, goes for the slog sweep, picks out deep midwicket, good low catch. 280/5
10 | 0 | 64 | 2 | 6.40 | 26 | 6 | 1 | 1 | 1 | |
30.6 to JE Root, Huge appeal for lbw and up goes the finger! Root was climbing through a rare sweep shot, it was perhaps too full for comfort, but also decidedly leg-sided... he reviews. No bat involved... ball-tracker is taking an age to load... pitches in line, turning to leg, umpire's call! Root has to go, England's anchor is weighed!. 201/3 34.1 to HC Brook, excellent catch, it's Carey again! Brook tries to go over the off side, skews off a thick outside edge, flies into point, Carey turns, runs back and dives to take a two-handed catch over his shoulder. 219/4

47.2 to BM Duckett, got him! A short delivery that doesn't bounce, Duckett misses the pull and is caught right in front. He's called the review, but looks done for. The ball really died off the surface. Again, ball tracking is taking a while. Halfway up middle, and was on the way down. 322/7 49.2 to BA Carse, and Labuschagne does it himself! Carse looking to launch this down the ground, goes high but without much distance, Marnus turns and runs towards mid-on, taking it over his shoulder. 338/8 |

4.1 to SPD Smith, that's also huge! A hard length from Wood, Test-match lines as he batters the pitch at 150kph+ and lures a hard-handed drive. Duckett is perfectly placed at slip and barely has to flinch as he swallows the waist-high offering. England's hit-em-hard approach is reaping rewards!. 27/2

3.1 to TM Head, slammed back at Archer! What a critical wicket! He did so well to close his fingers around that, a massive wipe through the line of the full-length delivery, but Head didn't get proper hold of it. The ball skewed back up the pitch, toe-end on the blade, at a good lick but not nearly as quickly as Archer might have expected. He held his nerve, and his poise, closed his hands around the ball, high to his left. Massive powerplay breakthrough!. 21/1
7 | 0 | 69 | 1 | 9.85 | 21 | 10 | 3 | 0 | 0 | |
41.4 to AT Carey, Carse is back in the game! Trusts his pitch-hitting instincts, follows the batter as he makes room for another swing of the blade, and it's a cramped welly to mid-off. Priceless breakthrough, and can that ignite England's final push? Wonderful knock from Carey though. His stand has put Australia in the box seat. 282/5
10 | 1 | 47 | 1 | 4.70 | 23 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
19.2 to M Labuschagne, taken at cover! The growing pressure from the spinners tells. Reward for Rashid. Full, cleverly holding it back, Labuschagne drives, picks out cover and Buttler snaffles it. Think Labuschagne was intentionally trying to clear the infield. 122/3
7 | 0 | 47 | 1 | 6.71 | 16 | 3 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
22.2 to MW Short, gone now! A low return catch, very sharp from Livingstone. Is Short waiting? Now he heads off. Keeps it full, Short going for the drive, sends it back to Livingstone who grabs it low to his left, very cleanly. Huge moment. 136/4
