2.6 to C Connolly, has he edged it this time?! India are very convinced. Wide outside off, Connolly playing a square drive, was it an under edge? Yes, it's taken the toe end. They are just checking the ball has carried to KL Rahul. It's clean. 4/1 36.4 to SPD Smith, cleaned up! Smith wanted to take down Shami. Used his feet, came down on a line of leg stump, drives over what became a full toss and it takes the base of off stump. 198/5 48.6 to NT Ellis, picks out long-on...full at the stumps, tries to clear the leg side again but can only pick out Kohli. Bat twisted a little.. 262/9
5.3 | 0 | 40 | 1 | 7.27 | 17 | 5 | 1 | 4 | 0 | |
49.3 to A Zampa, all over...short of a length, Zampa swings across the line and it takes the top of off stump. 264/10
8 | 0 | 44 | 0 | 5.50 | 26 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 0 | |
10 | 0 | 49 | 2 | 4.90 | 28 | 3 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
8.2 to TM Head, and he's got Head! Huge moment. Round the wicket, Head aims to loft Varun down the ground, comes from low down on the bat and Gill makes good ground to his left at long-off. 54/2 45.2 to BJ Dwarshuis, taken at deep midwicket! Full outside off, goes for another slog sweep and this time can't get the distance. 239/7
8 | 1 | 43 | 1 | 5.37 | 25 | 3 | 2 | 0 | 0 | |
37.3 to GJ Maxwell, Axar hits back! Slides on at the stumps, Maxwell steps back and plays across the line, he's through the shot and the ball cannons into middle and leg. A bad misjudgement from Maxwell. 205/6
8 | 1 | 40 | 2 | 5.00 | 23 | 2 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
22.3 to M Labuschagne, Trapped on the crease and in front of the stumps. The umpire's finger is up in a flash and Labuschagne will not review. Jadeja bowls this much quicker and his usual wicket to wicket line. Labuschagne is back and looks to work this away to the on-side. Misses and is trapped in front. Ball-tracker brings up an umpire's call on leg stump. So Labuschagne would have had to walk back even on review. 110/3 26.6 to JP Inglis, And just like that, Australia lose another one. He shortens the length just a touch on off. The ball sticks on to the surface and that brings about Inglis' undoing. He was looking to knock this down the ground, instead chips a simple catch to Kohli at short cover. 144/4 |

4.6 to Shubman Gill, No such luck for Gill. A soft dismissal for him. Good length ball angling across Gill. He was looking to steer that fine, without any foot movement and can only manage a thick inside-edge back onto his stumps. 30/1
10 | 0 | 49 | 2 | 4.90 | 31 | 4 | 1 | 2 | 0 | |
34.6 to AR Patel, takes off stump! Round the wicket, back of a length, Axar goes for a swing across the line and hammers into the top of off stump. That delivery did skid through a touch. 178/4 47.5 to HH Pandya, Good length ball tailing back in on middle. Pandya looks to finish off the game in one blow, but only finds Maxwell at long-on, who takes a comfortable catch. 259/6

7.5 to RG Sharma, Huge appeal for lbw and the umpire's finger is up in a jiffy. Connolly has made amends with his bowling. Does Rohit go up for a review? He has. But this looked plumb. Fuller and flatter on middle and leg stump. He goes for a sweep and misses. He is caught in front of the stumps and the tracker confirms the ball would have thudded into leg stump. Rohit goes and takes a review with him.. 43/2

26.2 to SS Iyer, got him! Zampa strikes. This one skids on at off stump, Iyer aiming square through the off side. Probably too full for that stroke. 134/3 42.4 to V Kohli, Kohli does not finish off the chase for once. Wrong'un well outside off, he picks it up early and backs himself to clear long-on. But does not get enough power on it, and Dwarshuis does the rest. Is that an opening Australia were looking for?. 225/5
