9.5 to MJ Guptill, Wonderful Ashish Bagai! What a keeper! He was standing up to the stumps and takes a loverly catch. Guptill got the edge on the defensive prod and Bagai moved his hands quickly to cover the deviation. Good delivery too; it landed on a good length and just about cut away a bit. 53/1 36.4 to BB McCullum, Batting Powerplay has taken its first wicket. Full in length and outside off, Baz slams it straight to extra cover. Fine innings, but its over now. 185/3 47.6 to SB Styris, Styris falls to a full toss. He swings it towards long-on where Davison moves in to take a good low catch, lunging forward. 318/6

40.5 to LRPL Taylor, Bala strikes with a lovely delivery. It was a flighted leg break on a good length around off and middle. Brave delivery. Correct delivery. Rosco goes for the big hit down the ground but the ball turns and he gets the edge. Hansra moved forward from backward point and dived forward to take a good catch. The Rosco show is over.. 254/4 42.1 to NL McCullum, Balaji gives us another lovely dismissal. A flighted loopy dipping leg break that drifted towards leg, luring Nathan to try playing it to the leg and the turn forces him to get a leading edge. Balaji lunges to his right to pouch that. A classic leggie's wicket. Lovely drift there. 259/5
10 | 1 | 30 | 1 | 3.00 | 35 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
29.2 to JD Ryder, Ryder has seen the suicide button, and pressed it with glee. A 100 for the taking against this dawdle of a Canadian attack, and he's let the opportunity go after doing the hard work. Ryder tosses it up on the off stump, Ryder gets under it and then is not sure just how hard to hit it. He plays a half-hearted chip in the end, and sends it straight to long on. He is livid, and smashes his pads on the way back. That wasn't a long boundary either.. 149/2

2.1 to R Gunasekera, Ross Taylor is here, Ross Taylor is there, Ross Taylor is almost everywhere. Full delivery, angled across looking for the outside edge that will keep the slips interested, but not this kind of an edge. Ruvindu flashes at it with furious anger and gets the healthiest of outside edges that seems set to take it over the slips and through to third man. Someone forgot to tell Rossco, jumping up with his right hand stretched up. He plucked it at it's peak as if he were reaping mango harvest. Delicious. The timing of the jump was outstanding.. 2/1 4.3 to ZE Surkari, Mills has another. Catching practice this time for Rossco. Not the first time Surkari has gone fishing outside off stump with an angled bat after getting half across, and that too very late. This angler hooks no salmon, no trout, no sardines, no nothing. Instead he gets Taylor. Easy catch at waist height, taken without any fuss.. 4/2

45.2 to HS Baidwan, Southee finally has a wicket. Rejoice if he's in your Fantasy team. Full toss on off stump, driven cleanly, but straight into mid off's hands. 222/8
1.2 | 0 | 15 | 1 | 11.25 | 3 | 3 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
49.4 to Khurram Chohan, Chohan's merry ways come to an end as Ryder keeps it slightly short of driving length and Chohan holes out to cover.. 261/9
10 | 1 | 47 | 3 | 4.70 | 35 | 6 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
12.3 to H Patel, Has he edged it this time? NZ review an appeal for caught behind that's been turned down. Another short one from Oram, this one just outside off and Patel again goes for a vicious pull, despite not having the room. There was a sure noise as the ball passed the bat. No other technology to aid in this review. It's eventually been given out.. 50/3 38.1 to Rizwan Cheema, another one bites the dust. No fireworks from Cheema as he looks to guide a short ball on off stump to third man, and ends up guiding it too fine. Baz dives away to his right and pouches it. Very good catch, that.. 179/5 42.5 to WD Balaji Rao, Rao's holed out. Slow offcutter banged in short, he looks to biff it over midwicket and ends up playing straight to long on. 205/6

36.6 to A Bagai, that's the end of a fine innings from Bagai. He's succumbed to the conditions as much as the bowling. He's barely able to stand, and wanted to get to his 100 with big shots. He again backs away to the leg side, looking to whack over the off side. Thin outside edge. Bagai c McCullum b McCullum.. 175/4
