35.3 to MDE Holden, hit the splice of the bat, that's what extra pace does. Zimbabwe do well to keep mid-off up for Holden, who's not exactly torn the attack apart. 19.1 to DW Lawrence, got im! Got a touch too close to the ball with his dance down the track, which is why he does not get the distance he wanted. Goes for the loft looking for another first-ball six to another spinner. Ends up finding long-off.. 91/1 38.5 to CJ Taylor, caught at short fine leg, simple as that. The pressure Magarira has been creating, and the need of the hour for England combine to dismiss Taylor. Looks to up the run-rate and goes for a slog sweep. 4.2 to B Sly, he seems to make them zip through after kissing the deck. Wobbly seam position, pointing towards gully. Hits around off stump, finds Brendan Sly's outside edge as he pokes with no footwork at all. Balls as short as that end up as wickets when the batsman fails to move. 10/2 6.1 to R Murray, dolly to midwicket! A little short and on off stump, not quite the right ball to go for the pull shot. Murray ends up looking quite awkward really, sort of like he just shovels the ball straight up and Donald sets himself up and called loud and early to make sure mid-on does not interfere. 14/3 35.4 to B Mavuta, outside edge off a wild swing taken by a backtracking backward point. Good length ball pulls the slog out, much to the detriment of the Zimbabwe captain. 128/8 43.4 to J Ives, knocked leg stump out of the park and Ives will not get his hundred. Poor lad, stays hunched over his bat after hearing timber and collects the handshakes. It was full, it was curling back at him, his feet were rooted outside leg to try and make sure he has room to open up the off side but he couldn't adjust to the pace of the swing through the air. 159/10 | ||||||||||

Mashinge flayed it and may well have been hoping for a boundary, but the England captain so very close in dives to his right, gets both hands to it and holds on to a screamer. 69/5 23.5 to A Keefe, get him in for slip catching practice at the nets! Banged in short just outside off, Keefe guides it perfectly into the hands at slip. Think he wanted to run it to third man, but the bounce was a bit too much for him so the ball just went too fine. 69/6 25.4 to W Madhevere, rip-roaring yorker and leg stump has been battered! Got through Madhevere before he knew what was happening. By the time he realised the danger and brought a closed face down, the ball angled into his pads has uprooted leg stump. 76/7 | ||||||||||
