0.4 to RR Pant, Pant tightens his technique outside off. Left alone. Oh, what do we have here? From tight to loose, in a matter of a couple of seconds. Great awareness from the WI keeper. Pant, who was already standing outside the crease, stretched forward, and drifted further out, after offering no stroke. Imlach grabs it and hits the stumps with an under-arm flick. 'Reverse mankading' as Vishal puts it. Full marks to the keeper. Sharp work. 3/1 2.1 to Anmolpreet Singh, pace, bounce, movement. Everything good about that. Banged in short and snakes away slightly outside off, Anmolpreet spars at it, edging it behind to Imlach. The keeper hops up and snaffles it. Dolly catch. 8/2 6.1 to Ishan Kishan, lovely follow up. Fullish and straight, angled across, Kishan attempts a leg-side flick. He goes across the line, and can't put bat on ball. Joseph strikes the pad and the finger goes up. Trapped in front. India in early strife at 27 for 3. Did the ball pitch in line? The tracker shows that it pitched outside leg. 27/3

29.1 to MK Lomror, and he finds the outside edge, first ball after the drinks break. Full and angling away from over the wicket to the left-hander. Lomror pushes outside off and gets a thin nick behind to the keeper. Extravagant celebrations and high-fives in the WI camp. 87/6

14.5 to Washington Sundar, and Sundar has plopped a catch to mid-off. Nice and full on off, stops on Sundar. He looks to drive on the up, and ends up (mis)hitting into the lap of Joseph. India four down and Joseph has played a part in every dismissal so far. 41/4 36.2 to MJ Dagar, Dagar plays wide away from the body again, holes out to backward point. Short and wide outside off, cut loosely in the air. Carty flings to his left at backward point and completes a smart catch. Sarfraz isn't pleased. He is running out of partners. 116/7 38.1 to SN Khan, Sarfaraz goes for 51. Full, straight, innocuous ball on middle. He does not connect with his leg-side flick/swipe. Pinged on the knee-roll. It would have hit middle and leg. The bowler pats the departing batsman on the back. 120/8

17.2 to Armaan Jaffer, and Springer strikes second ball! Springer brings out the chest-roll celebration. Clean catch? Looks so. The TV ump has been called in. The soft signal is out. Legal ball. Full on middle, Armaan gets forward to drive. He plays in the air, chipping it to the short-cover fielder at ankle height. Bring on the chest roll again! India five down and sinking in Mirpur in the title bout. Coach Rahul Dravid was off his seat as soon as the batsman found Paul. 50/5

39.6 to Avesh Khan, low full toss on off, that should have been dispatched. Instead, a catch is popped as short midwicket dives to his left to snap it up. Avesh is crestfallen. Subdued celebrations overall from WI. 123/9 45.1 to RR Batham, Paul wraps India up for 145. Gentle full ball outside off, nicked behind to Imlach who started it all off with some clever work behind the stumps. 145/10 |

22.6 to SO Hetmyer, Hetmyer skips out and finds long-on. Dagar screams his lungs out. The left-arm spinner gives this more air outside off, the WI captain made decent connection, though he had aimed to hit it squarer. Hetmyer has to go. 67/3 26.1 to SK Springer, Springer has been removed for 3. Dagar pushes this full on off, gave this more air as well. Springer dropped to one knee for a slog sweep. He offers a skier to long-off. 71/4 28.6 to JU Goolie, Catch him if you can! Mayank Dagar sets off on a celebratory run. Has he broken the game open? Dangled up outside off, stops on the batsman a bit. Goolie drives it back to the bowler. He moves to his left and snaffles the return catch. 77/5 |
