1.5 to JG Bethell, pinned in front, up goes the finger! Done by inswing and seam movement, he played inside the line to be struck on the back leg - and Black doesn't take long to give this one. India have their first wicket. Lovely seam position from Kumar, allows the ball to drift in menacingly and then straighten off the pitch. The dangerous Bethell gone cheaply. 4/1 3.3 to TJ Prest, short ball sits up nicely... but Prest drags on! Another big blow struck by India, Kumar gets his second! A duck for the England captain, he walks off looking crestfallen. Nothing wrong with the shot selection but his execution was squiffy, a fat bottom edge cannoning down into the woodwork. 18/2 43.1 to JEK Rew, pulled to deep square leg... and held on the juggle! Rew falls five short of a battling hundred. Kaushal so nearly spilled it, the ball popping out a full yard or two as he fumbled the catch, but he flung himself forward and held the rebound one-handed! Kumar roars in celebration, he's broken a 93-run stand and denied Rew his moment. 184/8 43.4 to TH Aspinwall, back of a length, Aspinwall pokes an angled bat, nicks to the keeper! Kumar leaps and punches the air, he has a fourth. Looking for the release shot down to third man, clear deflection through to Bana. England are nine down with more than six overs still to bowl. 185/9

10.1 to GW Thomas, swipes across the line, and taken at cover! England lose their set opener and India have taken a grip of the early stages here. Pitched up and maybe just holding its line outside off, Thomas attempted another rustic mow but only managed a thick outside edge that looped and swirled into the grateful hands of Dhull. 37/3 12.5 to W Luxton, wild hack and Luxton nicks to the keeper! Bawa takes his second and England are really rocking now, four down with fewer than 50 on the board. There was a bit of width but again Bawa got it to kick up off the pitch, thick top edge and Bana snaffles it safely at head height. India surging. 47/4 12.6 to GJ Bell, gloves behind first ball! Bell dinged by a short one, right up in his grill, and Bana again swallows the catch! Excellent stuff from Bawa, dug in at head height, the line was such that he couldn't easily sway out of the way. Bell threw up the dukes, to no avail as the ball deflected through. 47/5 16.2 to Rehan Ahmed, Bawa can do no wrong today! In the fourth stump channel on a good length drawing Ahmed forward in defense, it holds its line to clip the edge and carry low to Kaushal Tambe at slip who slides forward on his knees and takes this at shin height.. 61/6 44.5 to JA Boyden, and England won't be getting 200! Five for Bawa as Boyden edges behind! Bawa-hahahaha. England have been rissoled, all out for 189 in the 45th over. Decent ball to complete the five-for, pitched up in the channel and Boyden nicks off on the drive. 189/10

24.3 to AJ Horton, pressure results in another ambitious heave gifting a wicket to the captain Dhull at midwicket in the ring. Horton charges a good length ball on fifth stump, doesn't get to the pitch and mows across the line miscuing it flat toward Dhull, who does a bunny hop reaching above his head to intercept this.. 91/7

0.2 to A Raghuvanshi, draws a flirt, finds the outside edge! Boyden strikes second ball, and England are charging around in delight. A duck for Angkrish, India's leading run-scorer in the tournament. Searching line, maybe short enough to let go, but he followed it as the ball left him and grazed the edge. 0/1 42.6 to RA Bawa, it's goodbye to Bawa for the moment! England still clinging on for faint hope until the fat lady sings! Length ball on the stumps, goes to flat bat this over mid-on with the fielder up in the ring, but miscues it. Simple catch on the ring crouching forward to take this reaching forward at ankle height on his haunches.. 164/5

26.6 to SK Rasheed, Rasheed loses his head, and his wicket! Not Dravid-approved, that shot. A filthy hack at a length ball that goes almost straight up, still a tough catch inside the circle but Rew holds it at the second attempt. Sales puts the wind back in England's sails. 95/3 28.2 to YV Dhull, swung away leg side, but straight to deep backward square! Sales has two in three balls, and India are suddenly rocking! Another impetuous stroke, there was a man out on the hook, and Bell just had to scamper around to his right to hold a gift from Dhull. India's captain departs, and the pressure ratchets up. 97/4

17.3 to Harnoor Singh, dug in, and gloved behind! Horton holds a screamer! Odd shot from Harnoor - or not a shot, as he started shaping to pull and then bailed out, only to send a knuckleduster through to the keeper. Still needed some work behind the stumps, though, as Horton went flying high and one-handed to his right. Aspinwall has broken the stand, and England still believe!. 49/2 46.2 to KS Tambe, what a catch from Rehan Ahmed at backward point! He's not saying goodbye just yet! Full and wide to encourage a drive, but Tambe is a bit loose with the shot and doesn't make any effort to keep it down. It flies sharply to Ahmed on the ring and he takes a sizzling catch reaching across his body tumbling right claiming this at rib height.. 176/6
