0.5 to SP Fleming, Fleming's disastrous run against SL continues. Lands outside off stump, on a length, Fleming leans forward and is struck just outside the line. It was hitting off but the point of impact was just outside off and he was playing a shot. But Asad Rauf raises the finger. It was pretty close. It looked as if he was hit in front of off but the replays suggested he was outside.. 1/1 2.1 to LRPL Taylor, Stunner from Sangakkara. Full in length, landed on the off and middle and slanted away. Taylor has a stab at it, gets a outside edge and it flies low to the right of Sangakkara who dived full-length and plucked it inches off the turf. Fab effort. Double strike from Vaas has NZ reeling. Tossed-up, on the middle stump line, on a length, McMillan tries to sweep, the ball turns in and bounces, gets a top-edge and bobs away to the left of short fine-leg fielder. As he walks past Rauf, he asks him something and shakes his head at the response. He came down the track, Dilshan dragged back the length, Oram went through with his lofted drive, but the bottom-hand came off the handle and the ball went high up in the air towards long-on. It hung in the air for a long time and then swirled down, Maharoof went forward, then to his left, then to his right as the ball kept swirling and lunged to his left to hold on to it. 30.3 to DPMD Jayawardene, short and on the stumps, Jayawardene sees it a touch late and decides to climb into the pull shot anyway, it's hit reasonably hard but not hard enough or high enough to get past the substitute fielder Hamish Marshall at midwicket. He doesn't drop those and Jaywardene kicks himself all the way back to the pavilion for giving his wicket away so softly just when Sri Lanka were coasting along. Big wicket for New Zealand this!. 152/3 37.5 to LPC Silva, Done in the flight. Vettori tossed it up, slow in the air, Silva came down the track and is made to wait a touch and he lofts it straight to long-off. Sangakkara says something to him as he walks past.
