2.6 to DS Smith, Cracker! Cleans him up! The fuller length did the trick. Landed on the middle and off stump line, goes on with the angle, Smith is caught at the crease and he tries to work it to on side, the ball evades the waft and crashes into the off stump. Very nice from Mortaza. He had been getting the ball to bend in to the left-hand batsmen so far but this one went on straight and that fooled Smith. He ended up playing a ugly waft across the line.. 8/1
10 | 2 | 48 | 1 | 4.80 | 38 | 4 | 1 | 1 | 0 | |
3.5 to CH Gayle, Gone! Gayle's horrible run continues. Full in length, it landed on the off stump line and straightened, the bat, again, came outside the line and the ball thudded into the pad in front of off stump. It was hitting off. Gayle has to go and Bangladesh have struck early and how. The openers are back in the hut.. 8/2
10 | 0 | 44 | 1 | 4.40 | 31 | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
46.1 to BC Lara, And Lara falls. He comes down the track and drives powerfully but straight to cover. Lara walks back. This is probably his penultimate knock in the ODIs. There was a gem of whiplash square-drive for six and that is that. He is gone now. West Indies slid further.. 196/5

21.3 to MN Samuels, Gone. Flighted up, above the eye-level, it dips outside off stump, grips and turns away. Samuels drives loosely, gets a edge and is snapped up smartly by Rahim. It is a spin-friendly track and Sarwan walks in.. 55/3
2 | 0 | 12 | 1 | 6.00 | 3 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
37.4 to S Chanderpaul, cleaned 'em up! Aftab moves to around the wicket, bowls it on a good line marginally outside off stump, Chanderpaul slogs across the line and his off stump is disturbed, the change of bowling works for Bangladesh. 136/4 |

8.5 to Aftab Ahmed, Collymore removes Aftab. Lovely seam-position, seam facing the slips and it landed on a length, just outside off stump and shaped away. Aftab hang his bat out at it and it took a bit of outside edge before nestling into the 'keeper's gloves. Collymore can finally celebrate. The ball has not slipped out of the fielder. Lara rushes to congratulate him. Smiles all round.. 21/2 10.5 to Shakib Al Hasan, Collymore on fire for Windies. Done in by the extra bounce. Landed on the seam, around the off stump line, kicked up, more than what Saqibul expected as he shaped for a on-the-up square-drive, gets the edge and flies to Ramdin. West Indies are on top here.. 23/3
10 | 0 | 38 | 3 | 3.80 | 39 | 3 | 0 | 4 | 0 | |
14.4 to Mohammad Ashraful, caught at square leg, Powell drops it a fraction short, Ashraful goes back and tries to hit over the in field, he's in no position whatsoever to play a pull and the ball hits the high part of the bat before spooning up to Samuels who takes the simplest of catches. 34/4 16.1 to Javed Omar, Another one goes down. Again done by the extra bounce. Omar falls after offering some resistance. Hits the deck short of length, outside the off stump and it holds its line. Omar hops up, stabs at it, bat away from the body, with an open-face of the bat and it flies to the left of first slip where Gayle takes it.. 35/5 20.4 to Habibul Bashar, The captain is gone. Smiles all around the West Indies camp. Pace and bounce gets them again. And again. Banged in short, it kicks up around the off stump line, chest-high at a rapid pace, Bashar has no where to go, he hops, takes the bottom-hand off the handel, puts his bat at it as a shield, it collides with the outer edge and flies over Bravo at third slip and he times his jump nicely to grab it.. 52/6

34.6 to Mashrafe Mortaza, cleaned him up with a yorker. Mortaza, after a fine resistance, falls. Full, on the middle stump line, and hint of late inswing, Mortaza is caught at the crease, his feet in a tangle, the bat comes down in an angle and the ball squeezes past it to crash into the furniture.. 110/7 38.4 to Abdur Razzak, Lara takes a catch! he has a huge smile spread across his visage. Finally, something goes well for him. Length-delivery, slanting away from Razzak who tries to withdraw his bat away but is late in doing so and ends up patting it to Lara at second slip. He doesn't make any mistake this time. Bravo celebrates and Lara rushes towards him. All the Windies players converge on the duo. The sun is shining and the weather is sweet for the West Indians. Lara took the catch and only after taking a few steps, released the ball gently towards the square-leg umpire. He was not going to repeat that mistake.. 114/9

35.6 to Mohammad Rafique, arm-ball, from round the stumps, does the trick. Full in length, lands outside off stump, Rafique goes back, instead of pressing forward, and the ball comes in with the arm, the bat comes outside the line and he is caught dead plumb in front.. 111/8 43.5 to Syed Rasel, West Indies have won. A Comprehensive victory. They win by 99 runs. Slow in the air, flighted, on the middle and Rasel tries to slog it across the line, misses and the middle stump is pegged back.. 131/10 |
