1.6 to YBK Jaiswal, a big appeal for lbw from Theekshana, almost pleading, and it's been given. Jaiswal is having a chat with Gill and opts to review. It was pitched outside off and angling towards the stumps. Jaiswal went for the sweep but missed and it hit him in front of off. And the ball-tracking shows it would have gone on to hit middle. 11/1 3.1 to RK Singh, India lose their third. It was a length ball around off. Rinku backed away and looked to hit it inside out over covers. But the ball turned away, resulting in Rinku skying it straight up. Pathirana moved to his right from mid-on and completed the catch behind the bowler. 14/3 19.5 to Washington Sundar, full, flat, fast and crashes into the stumps. 15.2 to Shubman Gill, Hasaranga has Gill stumped and breaks this stand. Gill jumps out of the crease, Hasaranga pushes it through quicker and drags his length back. He also finds turn to beat the outside edge of the advancing batter. The keeper does the rest. Much-needed breakthrough for SL. 102/6 15.5 to R Parag, half-tracker on off stump, instead of smiting it over deep midwicket, Parag holes out. Double-strike from Hasaranga. He runs across from deep square leg, gets into a side-on position, dives forward and snags it. Flat and quick on the stumps from Washington, Hasaranga goes for a slog-sweep but does not middle it. 117/3 16.4 to KIC Asalanka, and Washington comes away with the wicket of the SL captain. This is a top ball from Washington. This is why India keep going back to him. Liberally tossed up on off and middle, drifts in from round the wicket, turns and bounces viciously outside off. 8.5 to P Nissanka, Finally India have a breakthrough. Down the ground but it's yet another googly. And Nissanka ends up chipping it to wide long-on where Parag takes a straightforward catch. 58/1 15.2 to BKG Mendis, lbw appeal, given on field, but reviewed. Bishnoi has slowed this down, but with the length being short, Mendis goes back to pull. But the lack of pace means he's through the shot too early. SKY and India are onto something. 132/7 19.3 to M Theekshana, Samson thinks he has his man. SKY goes wide of the crease and slides one down the leg side. Theekshana sinks to one knee for a sweep. Samson thinks he has nicked it behind. There's a deflection but was it off the bat? There's a spike as the ball passes the glove. Theekshana gloves it behind. Samson holds onto this chance.
