0.3 to PD Salt, good length ball in the sixth stump channel at 132 kph, Salt pokes at this flat-footed and gets a healthy edge through to the keeper. Bizarre sequence as nobody really appeals behind the wicket and Bhuvi only gives a belated shout before it's given out. But it was an obvious edge. The stadium is loud tonight.. 1/1 17.5 to AR Patel, bullseye! 132 kph yorker on middle and off stump, Axar plays over the top of this trying to flick through midwicket and the ball ricochets off the toe into the stumps.. 131/6

7.2 to DA Warner, too full on the legs, Warner shuffles across for another slog sweep but manages to pick out Harry Brook at deep backward square leg. Warner has a wry smile walking off. He smashed this pretty cleanly but Brook judged this sharply scampering 10 yards to his right and five yards in off the rope before lunging forward for a knee height catch.. 57/3 7.4 to SN Khan, full on leg stump, another batter falls to the sweep! Sarfaraz was not in control of this. Tries to smash this along the ground but it floats off more of a top edge and sails to the deep backward square leg fielder for the right-hander. It's Bhuvneshwar out there who comes in five yards for a much simpler chance taken upright at thigh height.. 58/4 7.6 to Aman Hakim Khan, another ridiculous heave by Khan, and this time he doesn't get away with it. Flighted wider on sixth stump, Khan steps forward to try to smash this down the ground again after a lucky shave on his first ball but this time skies a top edge over cover in the ring. Basic catch taken at chest height on the edge of the circle.. 62/5
3 | 0 | 21 | 1 | 7.00 | 3 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
4.4 to MR Marsh, good length ball swinging in on leg stump at 127 kph, Marsh defends down the wrong line and is hit above the knee roll. Big lbw shout denied as they scamper a leg bye with the ball trickling into cover. Aiden Markram signals fairly quickly for a review. Height was a major issue, not to mention whether or not it pitched in line. Replays show Marsh was hit above the pads on the back leg but his leg was flexing quite low. Ball-tracking shows the ball indeed pitched in line and was going to hit middle stump below the bails. Three reds light up. Decision overturned. . 39/2

12.3 to RA Tripathi, length ball on fifth stump, Tripathi drives at this 139 kph delivery. The extra bit of zip is enough to find the outside edge that carries comfortably to Salt.. 75/3

5.1 to HC Brook, bullseye! Slower length ball at 120 kph, Brook shuffles away across his stumps trying to scoop this over fine leg, but deep fine leg is back on the rope so the shot would not have produced a boundary. Strange option taken by Brook to try to relieve the dot ball pressure building on him and he looks even more foolish as the lack of pace throws off his timing with the ball hitting the top of middle stump.. 31/1 18.3 to H Klaasen, full and wide, Klaasen blisters a drive flat to the cover sweeper but picks him out too well. Sharp catch taken at knee height reaching forward five yards in from the rope after jogging 10 yards to his right.. 126/6

11.3 to MA Agarwal, flighted more on a good length on middle, Agarwal charges and is beaten badly in flight, reaches a long way in front of his body to get bat on his but winds up shoveling this straight up to Aman at long-on. Simple catch taken 10 yards in from the rope at waist height.. 69/2 14.1 to AK Markram, drag on! Good length ball skids on from fifth stump toward off, Markram goes back to cut but is cramped for room and a bottom edge cannons on to leg stump.. 85/5

13.3 to Abhishek Sharma, charges a length ball but gets nowhere close to the pitch and punches with hard hands in front of his body at knee height straight back to Kuldeep at head head by more in line with his left shoulder. He reaches up to calmly take this return chance. It was hit firmly but not blistered by any stretch.. 79/4
