5.3 to MDKJ Perera, Holder breaks through! Full and pushed across the batter outside off, enticing the drive away from the body. Perera goes after it but cannot control it, perhaps because of the angle. Skews it off the outside edge and Ibrar dives smartly to his left to take it two-handed at about shoulder height. Vital wicket for the Knight Riders, just before the onset of the middle overs!. 42/1 18.3 to N Pooran, Holder gets Pooran! Banged into the track outside off and with mid off in the ring, Pooran takes his chances. Has an ungainly swipe at it, though, and the extra bounce Holder generates means he splices it. Mid off runs back, keeps his eyes on the ball and takes it calmly over his right shoulder. 10.3 to Muhammad Waseem, does him all ends up and Ibrar wheels away in celebration! Superb change-up, pitching on a length just outside off and deviating back into Waseem. The batter has a wild swipe across the line and is beaten by the movement and the lack of pace. Sees his off stump lying flat on the ground, and also sees the joy on Ibrar's face while trying to hide his own disappointment at having not been able to convert a promising start. 13.3 to KA Pollard, Ali Khan whistles through Pollard's defences, and acts like nothing has happened! This is another superb full delivery that seems to tail in late. Pollard looks to flick it away but the ball breezes past his bat before smashing into leg stump. What a ball, and Ali Khan has broken this game wide open!. 102/4 15.5 to DR Mousley, Ali Khan has another! Full outside off. Mousley skips down the track and looks to go downtown. Does not get under it enough, though, and arrows it flat to Evans' left. He tracks it all the way, goes down sharply and gobbles it up with both hands. Seems to miss the ball altogether and gets pinned in front. Seemed pretty straight in real-time too but Clarke wants to have another look. 18.1 to DJ Willey, Farooqi bursts through Willey's off stump! Sizzling yorker that seems to tail in very late. Willey cannot react in time and the ball whizzes past his bat before leaving off stump in an absolute mess. Not much you can do about that, and Farooqi barely cracks a smile!. 145/8 | ||||||||||

17.3 to SP Narine, Narine bites the dust! Slower ball hung up on a length wide outside off. Narine goes chasing after it and looks to go inside-out. Not enough pace to work with, though, and he slices it tamely towards cover. Hosein runs after it to his right and sprawls to complete a smart catch. Big wicket in the context of the game!. 138/7 19.3 to JO Holder, goes straight up and what a grab by Banton! Hard length outside off. Holder swings at it because, well, why not. Gets it completely wrong, though, and skies it. Banton makes up lots of ground to his left from long on, slides and scoops it up while sprawling across the turf. 5.3 to MS Pepper, edged and gone! Shepherd has his revenge and he has his man! This is fuller, in the fifth stump channel. Pepper looks to smash it over mid off and into next week but loses his shape just a little. Gets a healthy outside edge and Pooran makes no mistake behind the stumps. Knight Riders three down inside the powerplay!. 52/3 5.6 to A Sharafu, hot knife through butter, and Sharafu is outta here! Hard length again, pitching just outside off and decking back in sharply. Sharafu does not account for the inward movement and is cut in half. The ball whistles past his bat and thunders into the top of off stump. Shepherd can do no wrong tonight!. 56/4 | ||||||||||

Evans thinks this is the ball to get his innings going and tries to smash it into the gulf. Misses the ball by an absolute mile and hears the death rattle soon after.
