pokes at a length ball going away with an angled bat, gets an edge that flies low to Pandey who dives to his left to complete a stunning catch. What a capitulation this. RCB bundled out for the lowest score in IPL history.

Presentation:
"Very refreshing. Credit to the bowling attack, especially Coulter-Nile and Umesh for bowling quick," says Gautam Gambhir. "Not a lot of teams have pace like we have. Got three guys who can bowl over 140. The plan was to hit the deck hard and the plan worked. We didn't bat well at all. After where we were in the first six, we should've got 170. We need to pull up our socks in the batting department. If you want to win the tournament, you need to bring your A game out in all departments. It was moving around, so I thought there was no point in using spin. The bowling department was very professional, I've not seen as impressive an effort from the bowling attack like I did today. The plan to the bowlers was simple ' just use your pace and show to the world what you've got.' A lot of opponents think we're a chasing side. So if we win batting first, it gives us a lot of confidence.
Nathan Coulter-Nile is the Player of the Match for a ripper of an opening spell. "I guess you have to come out steaming when you're just defending 130 odd. I just had a feeling we were going to do tonight. I haven't been bowling too much, I was so pumped up, I wasn't thinking too much about the no-balls. I thought if I can try to push the batsmen back and then pitch it up and swing, I could get wickets. We've got some world class spinners who didn't even get a ball today. The pitch suited us."
"Our worst batting performance, it really hurts," says an upset Virat Kohli. "After the kind of half that we had, we thought we could capitalise and chase it down. Reckless batting. I can't say anything at the moment. It was that bad. This is just not acceptable. The sightscreen is very small here, one guy got up as the bowler was loading up, that distracted me. Still it wasn't a big deal. That was just one down. Nine guys could have done the job. There's nothing to review anything about the second half, it was that bad. We need to forget it and move forward. We're a much better team. We got 200 plus in the last game. I'm sure everyone realises what they've done wrong. You have to come out, show intent and back yourselves. I'm sure we won't bat like that again in the tournament. After the start they got, the spinners did well. Restricting to 130 was a good effort. We're going back home for a couple of games. We've got back-to-back games, need to try and win those to get some momentum."
In a battle between two batting heavy sides, Narine emerged as the highest scorer. What a collapse this from RCB against pace. Sustained fast bowling of the highest quality from Nathan Coulter-Nile broke RCB's back early on. There was no looking back once he nipped out Kohli, de Villiers and Jadhav. He was backed up superbly by Umesh, Woakes and de Grandhomme. So grand was their bowling effort that Narine wasn't even needed.
If you're wondering how many teams have lost this big previously, we've got them all for you with some context and background
gets this to wobble away from outside off, Chahal is beaten
thick inside-edge down to fine leg. Played outside the line of that length ball that nipped back in
another nothing shot and gone! Length ball outside off, he looks to wallop this across the line over midwicket but miscues it towards mid-off. Kuldeep sprints in from long-off, calls clearly to keep the cover fielder off, settles underneath it and takes it on the move. Superb
RCB's lowest total is 70. Lowest total for any team in IPL is 58, by RR v RCB in 2009.
gets out of the way of that short ball, flies through to Uthappa
I'm not sure Aravind believes what he's just done! Length ball angling away, he punches this over cover, flew off the blade. Raced to the boundary.
looks to slash this over point but is beaten because of the bounce
Not only are they all but buried here, but RCB's net-run-rate is sure to take a beating, unless of course we see a miraculous effort from the remaining batsmen. Lot of chatter among fans here on feedback over why Shakib wasn't picked - got to say KKR have got this spot on. This isn't the Eden of old where the ball grips and turns. What a performance this has been from them.
Time-out
gets this to angle back in full on the stumps from wide of the crease, Badree plays down the wrong line. The ball misses the inside edge to hit him on the pad. Would've smashed the middle of middle.
hops back and across to defend that short of length delivery outside off
back of length outside off, punched to cover where a misfield allows a single
punched uppishly to long-off, Mills off the mark
looks for a wild slog over long-on but bat nowhere near the line of the delivery. Beaten
looks to flay that up on the up over cover but is late on the shot
If KKR manage to win, this will be only the 10th time a score of 131 or under is defended successfully in IPL
Got the previous one to slant away, brought this back in to nail him. Super. Negi looks to work across the line when he should have been looking to play straighter. Once he missed, he was a dead duck. Eden Gardens roars. RCB in danger of being bowled out for the lowest-ever IPL score
play and a miss. Lunges forward to poke at that away-going delivery. Nibbling it around, is de Grandhomme
works a length ball on middle and leg towards deep backward square leg. Good running
de Grandhomme
floats this full on off, Badree keeps that out
got him. Flirting at that length ball with an angled bat, super seam position from Woakes as the deviation takes the edge through to Uthappa. Absolute carnage. This was Binny's chance to a win a game for his side, won't happen tonight.
hops back to punch a length ball to cover
beaten by a jaffa! Floats this a touch ahead of length outside off, Binny feels for the delivery but the late deviation means it just shaves past the outside edge.
