An incredible turnaround for MI, who after winning one in five games, have now won five in five and looking the team to beat. LSG, well, they have some time on their hand and need to go back to the drawing board. If you missed any of the action, Ekanth's report has you covered. It's not the end of IPL action today, with RCB taking on DC in Delhi. So, hop onto the other tab to follow Virat Kohli's homecoming.

Will Jacks is the player of the match: I am a batter who bowls but my bowling is very important. [Part-time bowler?] I work very hard on my bowling. I know I am not a part-timer; I don't care what everyone else says. [Two wickets in an over] We know how important Pooran and Pant are. Offspinners to left-handers are important and glad we got the two wickets. [Revival] I have really enjoyed my time here. They have been very welcoming. Everyone has given me utmost confidence to be part of the team. We have to continue the good work. [On Bumrah] He is an extremely good bowler. I have had the displeasure to face him in the nets and it not a good feeling. I am very happy to be on the same team as him.

Hardik Pandya, the MI captain: The momentum which we had and carrying that momentum and everyone has been chipping. Everyone kept taking the chances. At the end it looked like we have lost of a few wickets. But Bosch and Naman came in and chipped in. We knew when to kill the game and we were awesome. The good teams are made of that when everyone comes in and chips in. [Bowling one over] Whenever it is required I bowl. Today I thought it was a great chance for Bosch to come in and bowl. [Five in a row] This competition is very tough and we can't afford to get carried away. We will always look forward to play good cricket and always look at the next game

Presentation time

Kasinathan: "Not taking away anything from Boom and Boult it is threat two wicket over from Jacks that tilted the match in MI's way"

Abhishek Jakhad: "Posting this comment again. Bosch seems to strengthen MI more than Santner, inspite of variety that Santner brings, simply because its underlines the MI philosophy. A fast bowling allrounder complimenting another fast bowling all rounder. Can Bosch and Hardik can emulate the camaraderie of Hardik and Polly?"

Tcj: "Boult, Bumrah and Bosch (BBB) combined to take 8/68 off 12 overs."

Bosch: [Debut] I officially got the news first thing in the morning through Mahela. Super happy about it. It's a super special feeling for me. It is my brother's birthday and what a special day to make my MI debut. [Thought while batting] It was just about contacting bat with ball. My nerves were through the roof, I just wanted to make contact with the ball. [Bowling] I have put in quite a lot of work. And here at MI as well, they are helping me a lot. [Preferred batting position] I am just happy to bat wherever the team needs me. I am willing to bat and contribute to the team. So proud and happy and privileged to be part of such an important day.

Rishabh Pant: [Bowling first] It was the right decision for us, we back our batting. We want to give the bowlers the best conditions, but today was not our day. The other team is also playing good cricket, and you have to give them credit instead of questioning ourselves. But we can figure it out because we have a break. [Batting at No. 4] I am not thinking about it too much. In a season like this you can start questioning yourself and I don't want to do that. Every time you take out that induvial is not the right thing to do. [On Mayank] It was good to see him coming back. He is getting into his rhythm. Hopeful he becomes better and better

7.25pm The first time, MI have beaten LSG in a league game. The head to head record was 6-1 heading into this game in LSG's favour, and that one win came in a knockout game. So, a lot of records being broken. All smiles in the MI camp and why not! This was in a lot of ways, a complete game for MI, who have turned around the season quite spectacularly as they win the game by 54 runs on a day where close to 19,000 kids have turned up through MI's ESA programme. There were plenty of heroes for the home team. Rickelton and Suryakumar with fifties, Boult with his three wickets, Bumrah with his four-for and Bosch for his all-round show. LSG started well with Marsh and Pooran striking well but MI came back strongly. The win takes them to second on the points table, though they have played an extra game.

Boult to Rathi, OUT

A sensational way to end the innings and this is MI's fifth straight win this year. This is also the 150th victory for MI in the IPL, the first time for any team in the league. And it's fitting Boult gets that final wicket. Angles the on-pace length ball on middle and leg. Rathi misses and his stumps are rattled.

Corbin Bosch to Ravi Bishnoi, OUT

A maiden IPL wicket for Bosch and isn't he delighted! A 133.8kph yorker heading for middle stump. Bishnoi looks to go across the line, is nowhere near it and sees his stumps in a mess. Bosch is ecstatic, the crowd is ecstatic and MI are on the verge of a fifth straight win

Ravi Bishnoi b Bosch 13 (14b 0x4 2x6 17m) SR: 92.85

Well, hello! Is that the shot of Bishnoi's career? And isn't he pleased! Gets a length ball on off stump, Bishnoi gets in position and thumps Bumrah over long-on. There is a fist pump, and another as the camera pans to the LSG dugout. A few smiles there as well. Pant looks on perplexed
