2.2 to D Padikkal, zing bails everywhere, and Siraj is back to haunt his former team! Back of a length, pitching on middle and leg and zipping off the surface. Nips away with the angle slightly and Padikkal, advancing and trying to smash it over the off side, only connects with fresh air. Off stump knocked back, and Siraj is over the moon. RCB lose two inside three overs!. 13/2 4.4 to PD Salt, off stump goes for a toss, and you can now hear a pin drop at the Chinnaswamy! Talk about a perfect response. Smashed onto the road last ball, and now demolishing Salt's stumps like there is no tomorrow. Fullish ball, starting on middle and off and curving away. Salt tries to hit it into next week and only swats away a few flies. Sees his stumps in an absolute mess soon after, and Buttler, more than anyone else, will heave a huge sigh of relief!. 35/3 18.2 to LS Livingstone, nicked and gone! Livingstone falls, moments after getting to his fifty! Short, wide and there to be hit. Livingstone throws the kitchen sink at it and only manages a faint tickle through to Buttler. 1.4 to V Kohli, straight to long leg, and Prasidh Krishna makes no mistake! Now we know why Arshad was brought in tonight! Shortish on leg stump and this is there for Kohli to play the pick-up pull. He does not display enough conviction, though, neither keeping it down nor trying to clear the fence completely. Tugs it to the fielder, and that is proper catching practice. 19.6 to TH David, pummels off stump and waves David goodbye to finish the innings! Searing yorker, tailing into off stump. David tries to go inside-out but cannot get under it. Misses the ball completely and sees his off stump lying flat on the deck moments later. 6.2 to RM Patidar, Ishant goes up in appeal, and the finger goes up too! Ishant has a wicket in his first over! And Patidar does not bother with the review either! On a length, slanting back into Patidar from off stump. He has a hack across the line and perhaps aims too square. Gets smashed on the back leg in front of middle and leg, and the slow, dreaded finger sends RCB's skipper back on his way. Ball Tracking confirms the ball would have thundered into middle and leg. 12.4 to JM Sharma, goes a mile up again and this time, Tewatia holds on! Jitesh falls for 33 and a promising partnership is broken! Sai Kishore gives it a bit of air but also makes a point to hold his length ball. That invites Jitesh to charge and swing for the hills. But because he is not to the pitch of the ball, he clinks it off the toe-end. Tewatia runs in from long on, keeps his eyes on the ball and ensures it stays in his grasp. Big wicket in the context of the game, and Jitesh is distraught as he walks back!. 94/5 14.2 to KH Pandya, that is probably the softest dismissal you will see all season! Back of a length just outside off and this seems to be a change-up. Goes the other way after pitching and also holds a touch. Krunal is bamboozled by it and gets a tame leading edge as he tries to work to leg. Sai Kishore completes the easiest of catches, and the Titans have wicket number six!. 104/6 | ||||||||||
