3.4 to Saim Ayub, Sohail Khan has the last laugh! Fraction short and follow shim as he backs away to the leg side, got cramped for room and indecisively poked at it, an outside edge takes it away to Abrar Ahmed at short third who makes no mistake and pouches it comfortably in his hands, Saim's 12-ball ebullience comes to end, Sohail will breathe a sigh of relief as this is one of the most dangerous opening pair among all PSL teams. 46/1
4 | 0 | 52 | 1 | 13.00 | 6 | 8 | 1 | 2 | 0 | |
13.4 to T Kohler-Cadmore, Ohoo! Goes short again in the channel, clobbers it downtown and gets holed out to Saud Shakeel at long-on who pouched it on the second attempt. Hits it flat and picks out the only fielder in that region, an untimely wicket for Peshawar, got a start but couldn't capitalize on it. Good passage of play for Quetta. 147/5
4 | 0 | 34 | 1 | 8.50 | 7 | 4 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
9.1 to Haseebullah Khan, that ball had more twists than a mystery novel! Completely befuddles him with his sleight of hand, too good for thee! Babar grimaces at the other end. Was shortish and kept coming back viciously from outside off and disturbed the furniture, Haseeb got a good one, wickets in quick succession for Quetta. 100/3
4 | 0 | 23 | 4 | 5.75 | 9 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
12.2 to Babar Azam, That looks like the end of a wonderful innings from Babar Azam! Flighted on a length at middle, it drifted slightly and went straight with the arm to thump the front pad. He was trying to flick it away and played down the wrong line. Umpire had no hesitation to adjudge it out. Babar takes the review but doesn't have a strong case, three reds on the DRS, hitting the middle pole and he has to go! Was that a lapse of concentration?. 136/4 15.2 to Aamer Jamal, Enthusiastic appeal for a caught behind, slightly shortish and spinning it across the right-hander, was very wide, he flirted at it and Evans think he nicked it, looks very convinced, shake of the head from the umpire. Review taken, ultra-edge will settle the debate. There is a clear spike when the ball was close to the bat so that is a prized scalp as Peshawar continue to lose wickets. 157/6 15.3 to Mehran Mumtaz, Woo-hoo! Hosein is on a hattrick. Turning up the heat in Rawalpindi. Was too close to cut, just a rash hack at it and ends up chopping on! Zalmi in dire straits, nobody wants to hang around for long.. 157/7 15.4 to L Wood, Oh my word, what is happening out there? That brought tears in the eyes of a little Zalmi fan in the aisles. Bowls a crackerjack on a probing length and a suffocating line just outside off, he gingerly pokes at it and Rilee Rossouw takes a sharp catch at first slip. Hosein is over the moon! He has got the first hattrick of this season! This is extraordinary bowling! He is running all over the place, nobody can chase him, pure joy for Quetta. This is an amazing feat, Akeal, you are a superstar!!!. 157/8 |

7.2 to RR Rossouw, Massive breakthrough! Skips down the track and miscues the skier, beautiful flight, got it to turn away from outside off, got a lot of elevation but not enough distance, Mohammad Haris tracks the ball from the bat, through the air, towards him and then into his hand at square of midwicket. Pressure was built from the other end too and that shows how important it is to bowl in partnerships. 60/3 7.5 to Khawaja Nafay, Man with a golden arm sheds another wicket! Arms aloft in jubilation, thumps it into the deck and Khawaja Nafay can't get under it, it was a quicker one so he didn't much time to create the requisite power to clear the rope, Mohammad Haris, with a safe pair of hands, pouches it safely at midwicket, what a momentum shifting over. Nafay admonishes himself for that shot, looks completely baffled. 61/4
3 | 0 | 21 | 2 | 7.00 | 7 | 2 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
5.3 to JJ Roy, Oh no, he has perished! Shimmies to the leg side and was looking to steer it down behind square on off, Luke Wood cleverly slowed it down a touch and gets it climb from back of a length, he nicks it and it nestles in Haseebullah's gloves who didn't have to move a muscle.. 53/2 13.6 to AJ Hosein, His cameo comes to an end, slower fuller length delivery just outside off, he takes the bait and tries to boom him down the ground, slices it in the air and Mohammad Haris hangs on to a nice catch at cover I reckon, kept his eyes on the ball till the very last second, usually does the glovework but has been neat in the outfield too. 97/6

17.3 to Sohail Khan, Spiteful short stuff at middle, he goes deep and looks to ramp it away and ends up gloving it to Haseebullah who grabs it without any fuss. Quetta just one wicket away from a resounding win. 120/9 17.5 to Abrar Ahmed, Pace off the ball, shortish delivery floating wide of off, tries to smoke him downtown and finds Babar at mid-off who takes the regulation catch and seals the deal. Peshawar Zalmi have qualified for the playoffs! . 120/10
2 | 0 | 25 | 1 | 12.50 | 6 | 3 | 2 | 0 | 0 | |
14.2 to Omair Yousuf, Jaoo! Length and it's tailing in from outside off, throws his bat at it and clatters it straight to Aamer Jamal at sweeper cover. Quetta continue to collapse like a house of cards; they're not going to die wondering and the steep equation is creating all sorts of problems for them. 97/7
4 | 0 | 22 | 2 | 5.50 | 11 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
4.3 to Saud Shakeel, G.O.N.E! Flighted delivery from over the wicket, gets some spin on it, he merrily goes hard at it, trying to chop that away and squirts it to Khurram Shehzad at short third. Mehran makes an impact straightaway, continues from where he left last time. He is so accurate, after the assault, Peshawar manage to uncouple the opening pair.. 46/1 16.3 to Mohammad Amir, Length and angling in at middle, looked to slug it over midwicket, hasn't got all of it, fielder took the catch cleanly, it's all falling apart quickly for Quetta. 114/8

10.4 to LJ Evans, Powell catches it like a tiger hunting its prey! That was bludgeoned off the backfoot and Powell sprinted across from long-on and plucked it out of thin air, that is sensational running catch! Aamer Jamla hits the deck hard on fourth stump line and it looked like the ball will clear the rope but Powell had other ideas. Interesting celebration from Jamal, sits on the ground like he is about to begin yoga. 76/5 |
