1.3 to Mohammad Naeem, Back of a length, angled across off, fetches it from the wider line and lofts it in the air but didn't get the timing and middle, easy catch for Abbas Afridi at mid-on who doesn't make any mistake, Naeem got the toe-end and tried to drag it from a wider line; looks very crestfallen while taking the long walk back to the pavilion. 12/1 3.5 to Abdullah Shafique, Hasan Ali is on fire, picks his second! Hits the deck hard and keeps it on nagging off-stump line, he tries to close his bat in a bid to work it down the leg-side but ends up getting a leading edge that pops up and Minhas takes the simplest of the catches and Karachi are jubilant to see the back of dangerous Shafique. 25/2 15.3 to Fakhar Zaman, Hasan Ali gets the prized scalp at a critical juncture of the innings; he wasn't going to stop and sticks to his methods, tries to clear the long-on on this low full-toss on off, finds Adam Milne in the deep who takes a spectacular running low catch to his right. 150/3 17.6 to SW Billings, Fraction short and zips in at middle, Billings takes the aerial route and hasn't got all of it, Irfan charges in from deep and pouches it comfortably at wide long-on. 18.4 to DJ Mitchell, Pace-off and slightly short, pushing it across off, this time he finds the fielder to perfection, Hasan Ali backtracks, tumbles but didn't lose the ball, caught at short third region but what a fine knock by the reliable Mitchell. He wanted to slap that away through point. Well there is a spike when the ball passes the bat so it's another early departure for Warner. Gobsmacks him with a heat-seeking inswinger into the pads, no extravagant movement, tries to whip it away casually and ends up deflecting it back onto the stumps. Karachi already in tatters! The centurion against Multan has to go. 0/2 15.4 to Hasan Ali, Shuffles across his stumps to scoop it away but it was too quick and bang on target for thee; Shaheen saw him moving across and did the right thing; sounds the death rattle with a full pacy delivery and it knocks over Hasan. Changes his stance to reverse-sweep and Billings was pretty animated and convinced, prompting his captain to send it for further examination. There are murmurs as the ball passes the gloves and it's a massive breakthrough. The deluge is getting suffocating for KK.
