19.4 to MS Chapman, Almost on a length and angling into middle, camped deep in the crease and heaves it to Owen at long-on who hangs onto it brilliantly, no elevation at all as wickets continue to tumble. 173/7
4 | 0 | 33 | 3 | 8.25 | 11 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 0 | |
4.3 to FH Allen, Short of a length and rising outside off, cranked up the pace and he didn't want to hold back and slow down after a brisk start, inside-out jab and doesn't time it well enough, no control in the stroke and gives the simplest of the catches to Saim at point; good innings but Peshawar will breathe a sigh of relief because he can do substantial damage with his high strike rate and aggressive methods. 46/1 16.6 to BKG Mendis, Pace-off slightly short teasing delivery floating wide of off, outsmarts him on this occasion, he doesn't judge the slower one and goes hard at it, trying to break the shackles and ends up getting the toe-end edge to Haris; played a good hand but it was the need of the hour to tee off. 144/4 18.4 to Faheem Ashraf, Caught and bowled! Again hitting the deck hard, extracting all the bounce on offer, got him into a tangle, he plants his front leg and tries to pummel it towards midwicket, too fast for thee, sits up nicely for Joseph to run to his left and gobble it up, short stay at the crease. Peshawar have done well to pull things back. 164/5

9.3 to RR Rossouw, . 91/2 11.2 to Saud Shakeel, Gets his second! Tossed on a length and it turns away from middle, he crouches and goes for a full-blooded slog sweep but finds Samad to perfection who made sure to keep his feet inside the rope, pouched it above his head. Another massive wicket. 105/3 |

2.1 to Babar Azam, Oh, that looks plumb and the umpire has no hesitation whatsoever to raise the finger. Good length ball thunders into the front pad; Babar goes for the review. Delivery cut back sharply into Babar and tenderises his pad, height is not an issue. No bat involved...pitching in line, impact in line and hitting the top of middle-stump, three reds on the big screen and the experienced campaigner gets the prized scalp of Babar. Crowd goes silent. This was the mini-battle within the big battle and Amir has won it once again. 21/2

1.4 to Saim Ayub, Wicketkeeper has been taken by surprise and he just instinctively jumps and the ball settles into his gloves; rose alarmingly from a length and catches the outside edge, undone by the steep bounce, huge wicket! Delivery was spot on, hit the right area on a nagging line. 17/1 7.1 to Mohammad Haris, Over the wicket, on a length and gets a hint of inward seam movement off the deck towards middle and off, decided to take the aerial route, couldn't quite get under it, holes out to Rossouw at long-on. Asking rate was shooting up and Haris doesn't like to be dictated terms, tried to break free and lost his wicket in the process. Superb bowling from Gladiators, exerting pressure from all ends. 46/4 7.3 to Abdul Samad, Gets the faintest of the edges and Samad knows he gloved it. Balls have took off from back of a length and this was no different, kicking off the cracks and he goes flirting at it, shot was on but the extra bounce undid him, nice high catch from Kusal and it's another vital wicket, half team back in the hut. Quetta bossing the game and the pitch is tailor-made for Faheem's style of bowling who thrives on sticking with shorter length and tighter lines, read the surface well. 50/5 11.6 to L Wood, Short, wide and hammered straight to Rossouw at extra cover, charged in and swallowed it down his throat. Invited him to go downtown again, he lunged forward and didn't middle it at all. Meek response from Zalmi today. 94/8 15.2 to Sufiyan Muqeem, Around the wicket, back of a length and shaping it back at him, he makes some room and can't clear mid-off; didn't get all of it as Quetta register an emphatic win; it's been a terrific all-round performance. 114/10

10.3 to MJ Owen, Swatted straight into the hands of the fielder at sweeper cover! Wasim with a wonderful low-catch. Back of a length with little bit of width, cracked it but straight towards the fielder; his ebullience comes to an end, was an entertaining knock. 81/6 10.4 to AS Joseph, Into the bowlers now. Fraction short of a length, strangling down leg, tries to glance it away and the fielders appeal for a caught behind, review taken in the dying moments of the timer. There is a teeny-tiny deflection as the ball passes the bat and the on-field decision gets changed. 81/7

4.3 to T Kohler-Cadmore, Stumps shattered, what a sight. Beautiful set-up, lands on the seam and it nips back, clattering the stumps, he shuffles across a touch to work it into the leg-side and missed the line of the delivery; Waseem with his favorite mode of dismissal, usually keeps it very tight into the stumps. Fiery celebration and Quetta are right on top!. 33/3

14.5 to Hussain Talat, Slower in the air, length and angled wide of off, wafts it and finds Rossouw at point; he has been kept busy, smiles all around in the field and the faint hope goes up in the smoke with this wicket, last recognized batter. Abrar gave a lot of width and the shot was on but he didn't offer much pace and he couldn't place it in the gap; it was a tough ask nevertheless, Talat needed some support. 114/9 |
