41.5 to Tayyab Tahir, GONE! Back of a length ball on off. Tahir looks to smash this over midwicket. Can't get a decent chunk on it and miscues straight to Williamson who makes no mistake at short midwicket. 195/6
9.3 | 0 | 43 | 4 | 4.52 | 36 | 3 | 1 | 4 | 0 | |
3.5 to Fakhar Zaman, Chipped straight into the lap of square leg. This was soft. After having pushed Zaman back with his hard lengths, O'Rourke goes much fuller and ends up putting this on the pads of Zaman. Instead of crashing it over square leg, Zaman weakly chips it straight to Young in the infield. The dangerous Zaman is gone. 16/1 31.5 to Mohammad Rizwan, drags on. The attempt to snag a risk-free single to third doesn't quite work out. Cross-seam delivery from O'Rourke which creates the natural variation - the ball jagging in off the pitch and that movement is what does the Pakistan captain in. The ball crashes into the leg stump via the deflection off the inside edge. 142/4 49.1 to Faheem Ashraf, Straight up and it's third time unlucky for Faheem. Slower back of a length ball on off, Faheem looks to go up and over, but is deceived by the pace of that. Spoons this straight up and Santner does the rest at mid-off. 241/9 49.3 to Naseem Shah, That's that! Bracewell picks up a superb catch and Pakistan have been bowled out for 242 in 49.3 overs. Good length ball on off, he does not get the cleanest of connections straight down, but Bracewell sprinting to his left from long-on grabs this. 242/10
10 | 1 | 38 | 2 | 3.80 | 35 | 3 | 0 | 2 | 0 | |
8.3 to Saud Shakeel, Well done, Beastie! He strikes in his very first over. Skids in from round the stumps, gathers pace off the pitch, flat but not short enough for the cut. Shakeel didn't have room to play that shot either. Bracewell rattles off stump. Well-earned drink for Bracewell and NZ. 46/2 36.5 to Agha Salman, Caught at short third. Duffy stretches to his right and completes a fine catch. Tossed up and outside off, Agha shapes to reverse-sweep but ends up top-edging it to Duffy. NZ's spinners pile up the pressure on Pakistan. 161/5
7 | 0 | 46 | 1 | 6.57 | 19 | 6 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
11.5 to Babar Azam, Oh dear, Babar has chipped a return catch. Smith accepts it gleefully. Pitched-up delivery on off stump, but this one holds in the pitch. Babar checks his drive and ends up spooning it back to Smith. Karachi has been stunned into silence. 54/3
10 | 1 | 20 | 2 | 2.00 | 40 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
43.1 to Khushdil Shah, Top-edge, top-edge and deep midwicket makes no mistake. Gently tossed up well outside off, returning back into Khushdil. He attempts a slog sweep, gets more height than distance on that and Phillips ain't dropping those. Santner finally gets a wicket in his ninth over. 200/7 43.6 to Shaheen Shah Afridi, Two in the over and Pakistan are sinking. Gently looped up outside off. Shaheen looks for a slog sweep, gets a top-edge that balloons over the keeper's head. Young at short third, runs to his right and takes a well-judged catch diving to his right. 202/8

44.1 to TWM Latham, Chance again and this time the catch is taken. Latham departs but not before doing significant damage. Banged in short on off. He can't control the pull and the top-edge carries to deep fine leg. Abrar sprints in quickly, dives forward and completes the catch. He's sprained the back of his neck in the process, but Pakistan will be glad to see the back of Latham. Too late, you'd have to think, surely.. 232/5

1.2 to WA Young, hits him on the front pad and its given. Isn't that a bit high though? Young reviews hoping it is so. Very good ball, skidding through after pitching and pinning the batter on the back leg as he tries to cope with it. Impact is in line with leg stump and is high on the flap of the pad. UltraEdge says no bat. Ball-tracking says umpire's call so NZ lose their first. It's closer than it originally seemed, so fair enough decision.. 5/1 24.2 to DP Conway, Naseem comes back and produces the big strike! He has Conway holing out to long leg. Banged in short and outside off, Conway dares to hook it away but can't control it. He splices a top edge to Abrar. They check for a possible no-ball but the placing of Naseem's heel is fine. Conway falls two short of his fifty. 108/3

38.6 to DJ Mitchell, An excellent catch brings about Mitchell's undoing. Floated outside off stump. Mitchell slaps this back at Abrar, who flings out his right hand, and despite the bobble grabs the catch on the second attempt. Throws the ball towards Rizwan in frustration after that. Mitchell looks on in disbelief. But he's played a superb hand.. 195/4

17.2 to KS Williamson, Through him! Agha has struck, and it is the big wicket of Williamson. Slows this down to 81kph, gently tossing it up on a length, getting the ball to turn in Williamson. He charges down the track, but is completely deceived in flight. Misses and sees his stumps in a mess. Is this the opening Pakistan were searching?. 76/2
