This concludes our action for the day. Thank you for tuning in. Goodnight.

Durban's Super Giants Captain Keshav Maharaj: "Yeah, very much happy with the win. So I think we owe it to our fans out there and really proud of the boys and the way they showed the characters, it's always difficult going. So many losses in a row, to see the character come through in conditions they probably don't favor to watch to see the guys stand up is very busy. Obviously the new auction there's always going to be that situation but just to see the individual guys stand up and the big names that that's been busy towards the back end of what's been a special tournament. Things will not be under control but I think what we did today is very special as a unit and we can hold our hands on high. I said in the last press conference, that the Power Play was somewhere where we needed to be a lot better. I thought today with the ball we were really superb. Obviously, there are still moments that we need to get right. But you know, it is a combination of things, just not going your way before the season, but I think today, we showed a little bit more with the characters. So still to get a decent scoreboard and kudos to the boys. I think to have that left hand, the middle there was a thinking behind a lot of it and then quickly, they'd be probably shooting ourselves a little bit in the foot. And then we went back to it. Well, then was a little bit too late, but it's a good lesson for us to learn going forward and hopefully, we won't make any mistakes in the next year"

Declan: "Yup, like I said, turns out Conway's knock lost the match. 6-7 extra balls would've put JSK in the driving seat."

Joburg Super Kings Captain Faf du Plessis: "Well, I've seen Donovan's injury. That's probably something that we will keep our eyes on and open. He's okay. And because this is one of those games, isn't it? Klassie (Klassen) batted really well, we were very good at it until that partnership, and the quality that he stood up to many attacks around the world. So he really put the back end of the boys on the bridge today. But even in that, I thought there were some excellent death-bowling overs. Donovan bowled beautifully, and Theekshana bowled beautifully. So probably restricted them under par, and then you start and you go well, the rain break came and we didn't respond well to that little break. We went back and Noor bowled exceptionally. I mean, he's that kind of a bowler if he gets one (wicket), he can get three. So just probably outclassed by two quality performances tonight. (Post rain break) Not necessarily anxiety. What you try and do is you try and make sure you, obviously, switch off while it's right. Then there's a period where you switch on again, mentally. And then the strange thing is always when there's a break. This is that small rebuilding fire. Just get yourself in again. And then things come a lot easier. But obviously, that break and for me to guard the first ball against Noor today, who already took our win out of ourselves, and then someone comes in with a guy that's on top of his game, so it's not ideal. When you start again, start fresh, you have to assess the conditions. It was actually a bit of moisture in the pitch and just from the right now, I thought it was skid on but it just clipped a little bit, but he's such a quality spinner. (11 runs short) I would say in the first ten overs with the bat. Donovan played really well at the back end, but I felt like in the Power Play there. Before the rain, it felt like we had a nice tempo to build up to the last two overs. (Next few days) But I think, first of all, it's just about rest. We've had five back-to-back games, so everyone is pretty clear and physically drying. So the first objective was the knockout stages. Tonight was playing a little bit around with a few things looking ahead. Not playing our strongest XI but keep an eye on the next game. We need some time to refresh the body, refresh the mind. And then two days before the next match, go to Centurion, practice there, see what the conditions will be like, and then get yourself mentally ready again. Because it is the same thing, if you win it's another game and then if you win again it's another game."

Player of the Match Noor Ahmed: " The tournament is incredible. I enjoyed it a lot, the first season and this season, I know we didn't have a good tournament but we finished with a good result. So hopefully, next time we will come back stronger and show how we are. I think just don't try to think too much. Keep it simple to myself. Just Bowl full with full rhythm, and wicket to wicket. And that's how it works for me. I think it is a pleasure to be kind of the main bowler in the team. You get responsibility and you deliver for the team. It feels amazing. "

Joburg Super Kings began their innings in an aggressive mindset, with the prediction of rain in mind. After 3.1 overs, the rain arrived, causing an immediate interruption in play. Prior to the rain interruption, Super Kings lost du Plooy's wicket. After the game resumed, Noor took two wickets in the over. Noor Ahmed's double-wicket maiden over shifted the momentum of the match. However, Donovan Ferreira later approached the crease and attempted to smash the bowlers and turn the tide for his side, the Super Kings. Ferreira hit massive sixes, a few of which sailed out of the park, to reach fifty in only 21 balls. His bat stroke and excellent wrist work was too much for the Super Giants bowlers. However, he received no assistance from his teammates, and the task became too difficult for him to do on his own, causing him to be caught out in the final over. Noor bowled brilliantly, bringing up three wickets and allowing only 25 runs. The post-match presentation will take place shortly.
