8.1 to Shan Masood, a loud appeal for caught behind and it's been given. A length ball on the stumps from Motie. Masood moved across and looked to flick. All he got was a tickle. Imlach, on debut, was quick to move down the leg side and pouch it. 20/2
14 | 2 | 27 | 3 | 1.92 | 68 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
5.5 to Muhammad Hurraira, that edge sounded as if the ball hit the middle of the bat - it was so loud. Seales once again bowls it in the corridor and young Hurraira simply hangs his bat out. A regulation catch for Imlach, his first in Test cricket. 16/1 9.5 to Kamran Ghulam, given lbw. Ghulam sends it for a review after a chat with Babar. It was a length ball starting well outside off but kept coming in with the angle. Ghulam offered no shot and got hit high on the back thigh. The impact doesn't matter in this case. And the ball-tracking shows it would just clipped the off bail - umpire's call on that, so it stays out. 31/3 13.3 to Babar Azam, Draws the edge! Up goes the finger. This is beautiful bowling from Jayden Seales! Babar reviews though! He thought a lot about that. This was a length ball angling in from wide of the crease to pitch outside off. The ball straightens off the pitch as Babar fends at it and goes by close to the edge. UltraEdge confirms the nick and that will be that for Babar Azam!. 46/4

57.1 to Saud Shakeel, Sinclair with the breakthrough! Right after the drinks break! Absolute ripper too! Tosses this up and it drifts to pitch around middle, drawing Shakeel forward and it turns sharply to take the edge. Imlach makes no mistake. It's been a good debut behind the stumps for him!. 187/5 61.4 to Mohammad Rizwan, West Indies review another lbw chance now! Rizwan looks for a reverse-sweep and misses as Sinclair tosses it up full outside off. No bat involved, UltraEdge confirms. And that's three reds! Impact in front and the ball was going on to crash into leg stump. Kevin Sinclair gets Rizwan as well, shortly after getting Saud Shakeel! Suddenly, Pakistan are slipping fast!. 200/8
20.5 | 3 | 69 | 3 | 3.31 | 89 | 9 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
60.1 to Agha Salman, Dragged on! Warrican slows it down as he tosses it on a length outside off. Salman was a bit late in bringing his bat down, looking to work it to the leg side but can only manage a mild inside edge onto the stumps. It's all happening again in Multan!. 197/6 66.4 to Khurram Shahzad, High in the air, and taken! Sees one pitched up around off and looks to swing it over midwicket. But the ball spins and hits the edge of the bat to balloon up and Brathwaite settles under it at mid-on. 225/9 68.5 to Sajid Khan, And that's that! The arm ball does it for Warrican, who picks up his third. Sajid falls after a nifty counterattack. Sajid goes back to a length ball darted in around middle and off and looks to work it leg side but it goes off the pads and onto the stumps. 230/10

2.1 to M Louis, through the gate! Pitched full outside off, driving Louis to drive at it. He goes for it only for the ball to turn sharply and breach the gap between bat and pad to rattle the stumps. 10/1 2.2 to KU Carty, an outstanding catch by Hurraira and Sajid has two in two. A length ball turning sharply. Carty goes back and looks to flick it. The extra bounce there and it looked like it hit Carty on the handle. Hurraira flings himself to his right, going one-handed. The ball wobbles out but he is quick to bring his second hand into the picture and hold on to it. 10/2 4.2 to KC Brathwaite, Sajid picks up his third. You are not going to succeed here if sweep is your only option. It pitched well outside off. Brathwaite thought he would sweep with the turn but completely missed it and has been bowled. 21/3 4.5 to KAR Hodge, Sajid is claiming the catch! And Hodge is walking back. But the umpires want to have another look. Hodge charged at the bowler but ended up chipping it low to the left of the bowler. Sajid went with one hand but the ball popped out. The ball got sort of entangled between his chest and left arm and he regained it cleanly. 22/4

9.4 to JP Greaves, Noman breaches Greaves' defence! His first wicket of the match. Was a length ball around off. Greaves looked to defend but the ball turned just enough to beat the bat and hit the off stump. 34/5 11.2 to TA Imlach, given lbw! Imlach is having a chat with his partner and opts to review it. It was an arm ball. Imlach came forward to defend and was beaten on the inside edge. The ball struck him in front of middle stump, and the ball-tracking shows it would have gone on to clip the leg bail. It's umpire's call and that doesn't help Imlach. West Indies are 42 for 6. 42/6 13.5 to A Athanaze, slightly full outside off and turns sharply. Athanaze was caught on the back foot and failed to bring his back down in time. A confident appeal for lbw and given. Athanaze had started walking back but decided to review in the end. The only question is if the impact was in front of off stump or outside. It's umpire's call, so Athanaze would have to walk back as the ball would have crashed into off and middle. 51/7 15.4 to K Sinclair, Noman Ali has four now! Looks to go down the track now but the full ball spin away to hit the outside half of the bat. Shakeel settles under it at long-off and Pakistan are two away from making West Indies take the field again!. 66/8 21.5 to G Motie, Drags it on! Noman Ali beats Sajid Khan to the five-for! Flat and quick on a length outside off, Motie looks to cut it away but the ball spins in to cramp him and he manages to inside edge it onto the stumps. 91/9
1.2 | 1 | 6 | 1 | 4.50 | 7 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
25.2 to JNT Seales, And there it is! Seales is frustrated at himself, but the approach has served him well so far. He went for another slog sweep as Abrar goes full outside off. He slices it in the air and Rizwan gets under it in front of him to his left and takes the catch. 137/10 |

46.4 to Agha Salman, And that's that! The first wicket of the innings that does not have Warrican's name in the scoresheet. Tossed up at 78.1kph on off stump, spinning away from Agha ever so slightly. He looks to go downtown, fails to get under it and miscues straight to long-off.. 157/10

15.4 to Muhammad Hurraira, Umpire raises his finger straightaway! This looked plumb. Full outside off and this is one that comes in with the angle. Beats the inside edge to hit him on the pad as he presses forward to defend. He reviews it, but UltraEdge shows there was no bat and it's three reds on ball-tracking so Hurraira has to go. Better outing today than his maiden Test innings, but he'll be disappointed he didn't carry on. 67/1 19.2 to Babar Azam, a huge appeal for lbw and it's given. Babar cannot believe it but this looks so, so close. After a long discussion with Masood he decides to walk back. It was full delivery on the stumps and kept coming in with the arm. Babar looked to defend but was beaten on the inside edge and struck on the front shin. The ball-tracking shows it would have hit the leg stump halfway up. 89/2 31.1 to Saud Shakeel, can you believe it?! Warrican tosses one on the stump, a fairly innocuous-looking delivery on this pitch. Shakeel goes for the flick but fails to keep it down and ends up hitting it low towards catching short midwicket. Greaves dives to his right to grab it with both hands, around shin height. 109/4 33.3 to Mohammad Rizwan, edged and take. Warrican gets his fourth. Flatter and slightly fuller from him this time. Rizwan plays back and looks to push. There is extra bounce too, catching him unawares. He tries to check his shot but the turn takes an outside edge and Hodge takes a sharp chance at first slip. 113/5 37.6 to Kamran Ghulam, Warrican has five! His maiden five-wicket haul in Test cricket. It was a flighted delivery, pitching on the fuller side of good length outside off. Ghulam goes back instead of playing forward. Looks to force it through covers only to get an edge. It pops out of Imlach's gloves but he grabs the second opportunity. 132/6 41.4 to Noman Ali, Big, big appeal for lbw and Warrican finally gets his man. Wicket No. 6! This is such lovely bowling from the left-armer. Pushed just a touch quicker on middle, Noman eyes a reverse, but is beaten by the pace of that. Gets struck right in front of the stumps and the umpire had no hesitation in giving that out. He consults his partner regarding the review. Doesn't bother.. 142/7 43.6 to Sajid Khan, Wicket no. 7 for Warrican! Floated outside off, he looks to go downtown. But the ball pitches and turns away sharply from Sajid. He gets a thick outside edge with backward point taking a simple catch. 150/8

4.2 to KC Brathwaite, holed out at deep midwicket! Brathwaite comes down the ground but he isn't to the pitch of the ball. Ends up dragging it instead of going down the ground. And it lands straight into the hands of Khurram Shahzad. 16/1 6.2 to KU Carty, Sajid has his second. A full ball around off. Carty goes for the sweep but ends up lobbing it behind the stumps, think it came off the glove. Rizwan moves to his left and pouches it. 26/2 10.5 to KAR Hodge, Got'em! A peach of a delivery and Hodge is on his way. Lovely looped up delivery landing well outside off and turning sharply back into Hodge. He stretches forward, leaves a big gap between bat and pad and the ball sneaks through to rattle his stumps. Sajid is off on his celebratory run. 32/3 12.5 to M Louis, Oh, that's a brainfade from Louis and Sajid has his fourth! He sees Louis charge down the track and goes slower and also shortens his length a touch. The ball pitches around off, turns sharply back into Louis beating him on the inside-edge to rattle his leg stump. Louis lost his shape completely in going for that wild across the line hoick. 37/4 35.4 to A Athanaze, an appeal for lbw and given. Full and straight. Athanaze was half-forward as he looked to defend but the ball went straight with the arm, beating the inside edge. He reviews it, more in hope than anything else. The ball-tracking shows it would have taken out the middle stump. Sajid has a five-for. 123/9

24.3 to TA Imlach, Edged and Abrar has his first wicket of the innings. That is a lovely delivery from Abrar. Gets the legbreak to land on middle and turn sharply away from Imlach drawing a false stroke. He searches for the ball, gets a thick outside edge and Rizwan takes a comfortable enough catch. After some brief resistance, Pakistan have struck. 95/6 34.5 to K Sinclair, extra bounce and Agha takes an excellent catch at slip. Sinclair cannot believe what has happened, still looking at the spot where the ball had landed. One of the slowest walks to the pavilion. It was a length ball outside off that turned away and jumped at the batter to take the outside edge. Sinclair was looking to defend. The edge went around shoulder height and to the right of Agha who flung himself to take a one-handed stunner. 123/7 34.6 to G Motie, Two in two for Abrar. A googly to start with. Motie comes forward and looks to defend but the ball turns away to take the outside edge. A regulation catch this time for Agha at first slip. 123/8 36.3 to JA Warrican, that's it! Pakistan seal the win and take a 1-0 lead in the series. A reverse sweep this time from Warrican. He gets a bottom edge. The ball once again sneaks through his leg but this time hits the stumps. 123/10

15.2 to JP Greaves, Huge appeal for lbw and Greaves has been given out. He reviews again. Gently tossed up on off stump. Greaves goes a full-blooded sweep, misses and is caught in front of off stump. No bat, for sure. Just the matter of how much the ball is turning. Don't think is missing. And, yep, the hawkeye confirms the ball would have gone on to hit off and middle stump. Noman gets his first and that will be lunch. 54/5 |
