3.6 to SM Whiteman, Strangled down leg? Yes, given!. Whiteman's walking. Was a length ball at 131ks down leg that Whiteman tried to heave around the corner. It rose around hip-height and cramped him for room. Looked to have taken glove on the way. Great take by Phillippe, diving to the left. Lucky wicket for Bird and Sixers effectively have two in two.. 26/1

7.5 to JP Inglis, Inglis is given out caught behind. Will he review? Yes, with two seconds to go. Lots happening that ball. Inglis made a lot of room Murphy went down leg and gave it a bit of air, Inglis tries to drive while on the move and there was a sound. Ultra-Edge confirms it was from the ball taking the outside edge. Huge blow for Scorchers after the Eskinazi issue.. 52/2

15.3 to AM Hardie, Caught behind given. Hardie's disappointed as he walks back. There was a noise, not sure if the batter was convinced he hit it though. Ball was on a length, angling away through fourth at 136ks. Hardie tried slugging the ball to the neighbouring town over cow corner but tickled it. Ultra-Edge confirms there was a nick.. 137/3 18.2 to LJ Evans, Oh yeah, Evans can actually get out. Needed a reminder cos it didn't seem a possibility till now. Was a slower one into the pitch, Evans tried dragging it across with a pull but top edged it to deep midwicket. He gets a big cheer as he walks back with a raised bat.. 174/4 |

12.4 to JR Philippe, Pulled straight to Agar at deep midwicket! Length ball at the stumps from around the wicket, 134ks, Phillippe went hard, tried to get it squarer but couldn't pick the gap. It travelled a bit but the boundaries are big. It ends the 59-run stand which has taken Sixers in front. 124/2 18.1 to JC Silk, Top edge, big ol skier, Inglis runs back and might've taken the catch of the tournament! He ran back from inside the ring deep into the outfield, kept his eyes on the ball and timed his dive well to take it in the air. Was a length ball at the stumps that Silk tried to whip across the line.. 181/4 18.2 to J Edwards, Another high ball, this time it's an easy catch to Tye. You just can't write off Scorchers, can ya? Shortish ball into the pitch, Edwards goes leg side and tries to pull it first ball but top edged it. Tye walks back and takes it fingers pointing up. Behrendorff now on a hat trick!. 181/5

6.2 to JM Vince, Deep cover runs in, slides on his knee and takes a stunner Connolly got low early and almost had to limbo his way in, did well to retain control and take it fingers pointing up. Good reactions from Hardie too. Vince danced down the track early and Hardie went full and wide. 65/1 14.4 to DP Hughes, Hard length works for Hardie, Hughes has to go for an excellent 74. 135ks, angling away to top of off, Hughes tried to drag it across to the leg side with a pull but top edged the pull. It ballooned straight up and Agar took a bread-basket catch at point.. 146/3
