0.6 to Rahmanullah Gurbaz, six and out! Theekshana with the early breakthrough! Full outside off, daring Gurbaz to go downtown. He takes up that challenge and swings hard at it. The ball, however, seems to leave him just enough to take the outside edge. Powell has a bit of a juggle at slip but holds on in the end!. 8/1 16.2 to SD Hope, Theekshana outfoxes Hope, and the Royals are inching back into this contest! Back of a length on off and this seems to just stick in the surface. Deviates away from Hope, meaning that he gets a leading edge as he looks to work to leg. Loops up and Powell makes no mistake running in from long off. You could hear a pin drop at the venue now, and that tells you who has had the better of the exchange in the past few minutes!. 179/5 16.5 to KMA Paul, two in the over for Theekshana, and the Warriors, all of a sudden, are falling apart! Darted in full on leg stump. Paul backs away, looking to go downtown. Does not get the contact he desires, though, and picks out Powell at long off to absolute perfection. 5.4 to Azam Khan, Azam perishes! Zipped in full on off and Azam, after his previous exploits this innings, tries something a little too ambitious. Drops down on one knee, shaping for the sweep but only gets the height he wants. No distance on it and Maharaj, on the deep mid wicket fence, makes no mistake!. 59/2 | ||||||||||

14.4 to SO Hetmyer, what a catch by the skipper, and Maharaj gets Hetmyer! Dangles the carrot outside off and Hetmyer bites. Tries to fetch this and smash it over long on but the angle is always working against him. Slices across it a little too much and spoons it towards long on. Powell comes tearing in, dives forward to his right and snares it wonderfully. A vital breakthrough for the Royals, even if it has come a little later than they would have wanted!. 165/3 | ||||||||||

15.3 to MM Ali, McCoy gets rid of Moeen with a slower ball! Pitches on a length outside off and Moeen, facing just his third ball, does not read it early enough. Swings too early and the ball lobs up off the toe-end. McCoy is taken aback by how slowly it comes at it but adjusts in time to gobble it up high to his left. 0.5 to K Alleyne, Motie breaks through early! Slowed up nicely on a length outside off. Alleyne looks to loft it over mid off but is beaten in the air. Has to reach out way in front of his body and clinks it off the toe-end. Hetmyer settles under it at mid off and completes the easiest of catches. Alleyne looked like a cat on a hot tin roof during his stay and has to now trudge back!. 4/1 12.2 to KA Maharaj, chopped on, and there is a cacophony of noise at the stadium! Slanted in on a back of a length on off. The seam position indicates it was an arm-ball and it keeps coming back into Maharaj. Gets cramped for room on the late-cut and all he manages is an inside edge that topples the leg bail. The Royals are seven down, and staring down the barrel!. 88/7 14 to M Theekshana, where were you going, Maheesh Theekshana?! Speared in full but down leg. Theekshana misses his flick and then, without any conceivable reason, wanders down the track. Hope collects cleanly and then takes off the bails, with Theekshana stranded. He has a wry smile as he walks back and that might go down as one of those brain-fade moments!. 95/8 | ||||||||||

7.6 to Q de Kock, appeal, not given! Floated up full and this might have just pitched outside leg. de Kock looks for the reverse and makes a hash of it. Gets rapped on the pads and Moeen is very interested. He has a chat with his skipper, and the Warriors review. Couple of questions to answer here. Did it pitch in line and was there any bat involved. Nothing on UltraEdge. Ball pitched in line too and Ball Tracking has it crashing into the inside of leg stump. Excellent review, and that is a huge moment in the game!. 63/3 11.1 to JO Holder, goneski! Moeen has another! Fizzed through on a back of a length outside off, perhaps after seeing Holder advance. 3.1 to A Athanaze, another catch for Hetmyer, and another Barbados Royal bites the dust! Hard length on middle and leg. Athanaze looks for the pull but the ball bounces a tad extra to get big on him. Cannot free his arms either and cloths it towards deep backward square leg. Hetmyer runs in off the fence, tracks it all the way and clings on. 8.1 to RA Clarke, huge appeal, and Tahir is off even before the umpire raises his finger! The Warriors go bang-bang! Googly slid through on a full length on off. Clarke does not pick it and plays down the wrong line. Gets thumped on the pad and that looks pretty straight. Clarke wants to have another look but that could be curtains for him tonight. Clear gap between bat and ball. The ball did turn but not enough to miss the stumps. Kissing the outside of leg stump, Umpire's Call and Clarke is outta here!. 63/4 10.1 to R Powell, Tahir gets his opposite number, and catch Tahir if you can now! Zips it in full and follows Powell outside leg. He advances and inadvertently yorks himself. The ball sneaks past his bat, pin-balls off the pads and then clips the outside of leg stump. Tahir runs all the way to the boundary to celebrate in front of the Warriors' adoring fans, and Powell, as he walks off, is livid with himself. McCoy, with an open stance, tries digging it out but the ball is just too good for him. Late on the stroke and he sees his off stump flattened soon after.
