12.4 to J Charles, Charles perishes, and the Knight Riders heave a sigh of relief! Slower ball on a length wide outside off. Charles has to fetch it and in that pursuit, the bat face opens upon contact. Slices it a touch and arrows it towards Jordan at long off, who holds his nerve and more importantly, holds onto the catch, completed with a slight juggling act on the fence. 15.6 to F du Plessis, Pollard gets his opposite number! Slower bumper outside off, asking du Plessis to fetch it leg-side. He takes up the challenge but comes up second-best. Splices it, largely because the ball got up so high and he picks out Hinds on the deep square leg fence. Pollard points to someone in the dug-out. Seems like a plan that has come off but irrespective, that is a vital wicket at this juncture!. 178/2 17.5 to D Wiese, goes straight up, and Chris Jordan somehow gets to it! Sensational with a capital S! In the slot on off and there to be hit. Wiese winds up and has a huge swing at it. Slices across it a little too much and Jordan, haring in from long off, has to make up plenty of ground to just get there. He then lunges forward and scoops it up, inches off the turf. The Knight Riders are coming back!. 194/4 19.1 to RL Chase, Pollard has his third! Juicy full toss outside off and Chase cannot believe what he has done here. Swings at it with all his might but only ends up picking out David at long on. The Knight Riders keep chipping away!. 205/5 19.5 to S Descarte, Pollard has another, would you believe it! Full, wide and outside Descarte's hitting arc. He tries to manufacture something downtown but does not get the purchase he is after. Clinks it towards long off, where David does the rest. 6.2 to KA Pollard, another spectacular outfield catch, and Pollard has to trudge back! Given a bit of air on a fullish length on leg stump. Pollard aims to whip it over wide long on but does not get the elevation he desires. Govia tracks it all the way, swoops forward and snaffles it, just centimetres off the turf. 1.5 to KU Carty, holes out to deep square leg! Angled in full on middle and leg. Carty looks to flick it away and hits it uppishly. 14.2 to CJ Jordan, clothed to long on, and the Kings are almost there! Seems like a slower ball that dips late on Jordan outside off. A juicy full toss thus becomes a low full toss and Jordan can only cloth it to Joseph at long on. A tame dismissal really, but the Kings will not mind one bit!. 117/8 17.3 to Waqar Salamkheil, massive appeal, not given! Reviewed by the Kings! Off-pace on a back of a length just outside off. Grips in the surface and cuts back into Salamkheil, going past his swing. Raps him on the back leg but Christopher Taylor was unmoved. No bat involved. Ball Tracking comes up and....it reckons the ball would have smashed into the inside of leg stump. Another Knight Riders batter bites the departs!. 138/9 17.5 to DJ Bravo, Bravo decides to retire-hurt! And that is possibly the last act of an extraordinary, unparalleled CPL career! Shortish just outside off. Bravo gets behind the line of the ball and defends. The perfect back-foot defence and Bravo decides that that is that. You can sense the emotion on his face. He tried to solider on but just could not. That is also the end of the game, and the Kings win by a sizeable margin. The fielders take turns to shake hands with Bravo. They too realise the enormity of the situation, and no one really wants to miss out on embracing one of the greatest T20 cricketers this part of the world has ever produced. And after a bit of the dust has settled, Bravo indeed sheds a few tears, which could be the clearest indication yet of how serious his injury is, and how this could be the last time he turns out in the CPL. 3.3 to N Pooran, Pooran bites the dust! And that is a huge moment in the game! Dangles the carrot outside off and Pooran bites. He skips down and tries to smash it into next week. Loses shape completely and the ball loops up off the outer half of the bat. Simple catch for Noor at short third, and Chase brings out the 'off to sleep' celebration!. 24/2 | ||||||||||

5.2 to TH David, six and out! Noor has the last laugh! Fizzed through on a back of a length on middle and leg. David backs away, shaping for the cut. The ball, though, skids on much quicker than he expects. He is awfully late on the stroke and hears the death rattle soon after. Noor punches the air in delight, and the Kings continue to chip away!. 42/3 5.4 to AJ Hosein, big appeal, and the finger goes up! Another googly, this one pitching on a length just outside off and decking back in. Hosein gets trapped on the crease and plays down the wrong line. Pinned on the back leg and umpire Christopher Taylor, after a bit of thought, gives it out. Hosein has a long discussion with Roy but by the time they come to a conclusion, the DRS timer elapses. Impact might have been slightly outside off but nothing TKR or Hosein can do about it now. Replays confirm that the impact was outside off. A missed opportunity for TKR..... 42/4 7.5 to AD Russell, Noor outwits Russell, and he is all smiles! The Knight Riders are....six down! Googly on a length on middle and off. Russell has an enormous swipe across the line and fails to watch the ball as closely. Sneaks past his flailing blade and then knocks back off stump. 13.4 to JJ Roy, oh, what a catch that is by Shadrack Descarte! Reflexes like a cat! In the slot outside off and Roy thinks he can smash this past the bowler. However, the bat face just closes upon impact and he shanks it a touch towards Descarte, who keeps his eyes on the ball and then gobbles up a sharp chance to his left. Roy is dejected as he walks off; the Kings, meanwhile, take a giant stride towards victory!. 115/7 | ||||||||||
