19.2 to S Badrinath, he's out-thought him here! 144kph, short and wide outside off, Badri was clearly trying to set himself up to go over the leg side as he moved across the stumps. Nannes saw his hand, slipped it out wider outside off, Badri was forced to correct the shot and go over the off side at the last moment. Too fast for him, guided straight into Wade's gloves.. 150/6
4 | 0 | 33 | 2 | 8.25 | 5 | 0 | 2 | 1 | 0 | |
13.1 to SK Raina, Slower ball death for Raina! Clint is the man when it comes to these slower balls, there is no chance in hell for a batsman to pick it off his hand, it is that well disguised. Raina did not pick this, he had backed away, and was looking to launch over the off side, it came too slowly and took the inside edge and crashed into the castle. 94/2 17.2 to S Anirudha, slow death for Chennai in the death overs! Another one of those no-pace, no-nothing on them kind of slower ball, Anirudha closes the face eons early and gets a top-edge that bubbles up and Wade runs in from behind and takes it on the tumble, next to the crease. 141/4

2.1 | 0 | 18 | 1 | 8.30 | 4 | 2 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
9.5 to MEK Hussey, Hussey is gone, he wasn't at his best today, struggled to find the gaps, this time he charges out and tries to smash the ball over deep extra cover, doesn't hit it as well as he would have liked, and long-off clasps an overhead catch, Victoria are jubilant. 68/1

16.1 to M Vijay, slow bouncer does the trick! These guys can bowl all kinds of slower balls, can't they? Hastings does that slow bouncer again, 123 kph and well outside off. Vijay did not have the pace to go over the off side, so tried to make his own and go over the leg side. The pull was top-edged, it took off into the night sky and landed in long on's hands. Easy catch. Good innings comes to an end.. 135/3 18.3 to MS Dhoni, and another one bites the dust. This is slow, excruciating torture - much like a Bollywood movie speech by someone on the death bed! That was a very short leg cutter, but it never really reach Dhoni who has given up the goose and tried to slam it over the covers. It went straight up and came straight down. Did not cover any distance horizontally.. 146/5 |

4.3 to BJ Hodge, Bolly hits back! Stumps asplay! This time Hodge was staying beside the line, trying to run it off with the angle to third man. Bollinger kept it on a length, very straight, and Hodge misses. Middle peg straightened.. 49/2 18.4 to DJ Hussey, Hussey's gone! Chennai are favourites now, this game has changed, Victoria are staring at elimination unless there's a mini-miracle from their lower order, Hussey backed away and chipped that one towards long-off, he had cleared that fielder two overs ago but can't this time, Chennai celebrate. 146/7

3.2 to AJ Finch, Ashwin has pulled one back here, with that lovely drifting carrom ball! Lands on middle, breaks away, Finch is flummoxed, closes the face on the flick early, gets a leading edge that balloons up towards short cover. Ashwin runs across, tumbles unnecessarily as he pouches it and throws it down as he lets a roar. Huge wicket.. 43/1

11.5 to MS Wade, Chennai get the breakthrough, Wade is gone, it was well outside off, Wade goes for the cut but gets an under-edge which Dhoni clasps, much-needed wicket, Victoria were cruising. 104/3 11.6 to AB McDonald, Two in two for Murali, this game has turned, pitching on middle and off and heading for leg, McDonald played down the wrong line and is struck in front, a golden duck caps a poor day for him, Chennai are right back in this, Murali makes up for the fielding lapses earlier, and how. Hawk-Eye says the ball would have just missed legstump. 104/4

17.2 to RJ Quiney, Raina has struck, Quiney was on the backfoot, looking to smash that one towards midwicket, he misses, middle stump is rocked back, big blow. 140/5 17.5 to JW Hastings, Raina has struck again! A tense finish coming up, Hasting is drawn forward by a short of length ball, he is beaten as he looks to drive, Dhoni takes off the bails and immediately he knows that Hastings is a goner, the rest of us wait for the third umpire's verdict, Hastings is a goner alright. 142/6 19.2 to CJ McKay, wicket! the game keeps swinging from side to side, a shortish ball turning into McKay, who stays on his backfoot and looks to repeat the previous stroke, stops on him a touch, and the mis-hit ends up as a return catch. 157/8 19.3 to DP Nannes, another wicket, Raina you beauty, Chennai are back on top, Nannes tries to finish the game with one mighty blow, its not as might as he would have hoped for, Vijay gets under it at long-on and completes the catch, Nannes has to trudge off, Raina's on a hat-trick. 157/9 |
