7.3 to IR Bell, and he's gone! That's banged in wide of the off stump, Bell goes for the pull, doesn't get over it at all, and skies it to Prince at midwicket who combats the sun in taking a good catch, low, on the crouch. 9/1
10 | 3 | 35 | 3 | 3.50 | 46 | 4 | 0 | 4 | 2 | |
12.2 to MP Vaughan, angling into Vaughan who falls away a touch to the off side. It raps him on the pads and Nel roars a typically lively appeal, performing a mini starjump-appeal for Steve Bucknor who, after a long pause, raises his finger. 37/2 16.2 to KP Pietersen, squared up a touch trying to whip it to leg, it's spooned to Graeme Smith at mid-off - and he's not going to drop that - who dives forward a metre to take a fine, low catch. 53/3 44.3 to MS Panesar, a wide one down the corridor, possibly deliberate, and Panesar slashes away from his body, backing away, and a loud snick booms out as Boucher takes that tidily. 144/9

33.5 to PD Collingwood, goddim! Swinging into Collingwood again who is rapped quite high on the pads, and Taufel raises his finger. That would've clipped middle-and-off. 115/5 35.1 to A Flintoff, what a ball! That's a cracker from Hall, just outside off and cutting back quite markedly into Flintoff who tries to drive on the up and is bowled through the gate, the middle stump flattened. 119/6 35.6 to PA Nixon, gone! And another one! My word Hall has been outstanding today; wicket to wicket, just slanting it across Nixon who nibbled at it without conviction and edged it to Boucher. 121/7 37.1 to SI Mahmood, and another one for Hall! They just cannot pick up his length today. A beautiful little inswinger to Mahmood who didn't come forward sufficiently, an inside edge knocking over his middle stump. 121/8 47.6 to JM Anderson, very very straight, as out as you like that one and that's a very well deserved five-for. That one hit him low, and full, and Anderson stood there bewildered, awaiting the inevitable finger of fate. 154/10

32.4 to AJ Strauss, and Nelson's done it for South Africa! Excellent field placing from Smith plonking himself at a fourth slip and Strauss cuts it straight to him. 111/4

9.5 to AB de Villiers, a cracking delivery, bit short but it didn't climb as much as de Villiers expected. A thin edge to an attempted cut handed Nixon a simple chance. 85/1
