14.5 to AE Jones, knocks her over, and Amanjot has something tangible to show for her toil! Hard length, slanting into middle stump. Jones backs away, looking to access the off side. She gets into a decent enough position but just misses the ball. Probably beaten by the slight nip off the surface and even though there is a check to see if the bails came off via Ghosh's gloves, there is no denying that Amanjot has outwitted Jones there. England five down, and in a real spot of bother!. 93/5

5.2 to SIR Dunkley, catch it is the cry, and that is exactly what Radha Yadav does! Brilliant grab, and Deepti has a wicket as well! Deepti shortens the length and hangs it up a little wider after seeing Dunkley charge. The batter has to then reach out for it and only manages to slice it. The ball floats towards backward point, where Radha tracks the trajectory superbly and then lunges forward to snaffle up the chance. Dunkley is disappointed as she walks back; India and Deepti, anything but!. 33/2

2.6 to DN Wyatt, goes straight up, and Charani sends Wyatt-Hodge on her way! This is beautiful and brave bowling. Dangles the carrot on middle stump and Wyatt-Hodge hares down, hoping to do what Dunkley did earlier in the over. Wyatt-Hodge, though, is done in the air completely. Nowhere near the pitch of the ball as it drops on her and all she manages is a tame chip off the bottom part of the bat. Reddy back-pedals from mid on, keeps her eyes on the ball and takes it in front of her face while tumbling backwards. Charani on the board early!. 21/1 11.1 to A Capsey, massive lbw shout, and that looks pretty adjacent! Flighted up on a length on middle and leg. Capsey shapes for the reverse but makes a complete hash of it. Perhaps deceived in the air too, which explains why she was into the stroke so early and missed it. That seemed to be heading towards the stumps as well, but Capsey wants to take another look. No bat involved, and this could be curtains for Capsey. Ball Tracking, though, is taking enormously long to build up. Simon Doull, on commentary, says Capsey might already be off the field. Ball Tracking comes up now and returns with three reds, with the ball smashing into the middle of middle stump. Capsey has to go, and she takes a review along with her!. 70/4

10.2 to TT Beaumont, in the air and taken! England's captain bites the dust, and that is a huge moment in the game! Floated up full just outside leg. Beaumont takes a step down the track and then looks to go downtown. Does not have the conviction, or the timing, or the elevation to extract decent purchase, however, and all she does is pick out Reddy at long on to absolute perfection. Vital, vital wicket for India, and it has come moments after the drinks interval!. 68/3 16.1 to PJ Scholfield, holes out to long on! Radha has two, and Reddy bags her third catch of the evening! This is given some air outside off and Scholfield cannot resist the temptation to have a pop at it. She swings at it with all her might but chalks it right off the toe-end, having lost her shape completely. Reddy runs in off the fence, settles under the high ball and does the rest. England six down now, and they are yet to cross 100!. 98/6

6.6 to Shafali Verma, taken on the fence, and Shafali's fun for the evening is over! Dean drags the length back a little and cramps Shafali, who has charged down to hoick this into next week. Shafali swings at it anyway but because she cannot extend her arms fully, she does not generate the power she wants. Capsey settles under it at deep backward square and makes no mistake. England break this opening stand, but has the damage already been done?. 56/1

8.5 to S Mandhana, sliced straight to short third, and Ecclestone gets the big fish! Now then. Now then! Slanted across on a length outside off. Mandhana hares down the track, looking to go inside-out. The angle, though, is always going away from her and due to that, she ends up cutting across the ball too much. Simple lob for Filer to pouch, and England have sent both openers packing now!. 69/2
3 | 0 | 18 | 1 | 6.00 | 5 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
15.5 to H Kaur, clothed straight to mid off, and that will be that for Harmanpreet Kaur tonight! This is in the slot outside off and there to be hit. Harmanpreet, though, perhaps does not quite pick the pace-on delivery, and is a touch late into the stroke. Miscues her lofted shot in the process and offers the simplest of catches to Ecclestone in the ring. Not the most fluent innings the India captain will ever play, but it has, more or less, ensured a victory in Manchester!. 117/3
