7.4 to N Pooran, Indecisive prod at it and ends up nicking it to the keeper. Back of a length with a hint of away seam movement and some room, gets caught up in two minds and might have thought about leaving it for a moment but then decided to crack it through covers and got a feather edge to the keeper, umpire raises his finger and it's a massive, massive wicket! Once again Adair induces a mistake and James Vince tactics work like a charm.. 42/3

3.2 to MDKJ Perera, Yeah, you could just sense a wicket was around the corner; it's the powerplay and batters don't like to be contained. Slanted on a length across off, tries to muscle him down the ground and didn't time it at all, easy catch for the fielder at mid-on, succumbs to the pressure of dots but this is how he plays, this is his natural attacking-mode. Giants get reward for disciplined bowling. There's hardly been anything loose from them.. 15/1 5.1 to Muhammad Waseem, That is an exceptional tumbling catch from Ibrahim Zadran at deep square; he was sprinting in from the deep and running to his left, made sure to keep his eyes locked on the ball, pouched it and didn't lose balance, wonderful take! That hurried him into a flick and wasn't off the middle and stayed in the air for a long while. Gulf Giants have won the powerplay hands down. It was a difficult catch but he made it look easy. 24/2

17.1 to KA Pollard, Over the wicket, thumped hard into the surface and just outside off, swivels through the hips to smear it over deep square and the ball got big on him, not under-control. Adair takes a wonderful catch deep into the leg side; tracks the ball from the bat, through the air, towards him and then into his hand. 123/6
4 | 0 | 33 | 1 | 8.25 | 9 | 3 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
10.3 to DR Mousley, That is a phenomenal catch! That hung in the air for an eternity at mid-on and Adair does so well at mid-off, adjusting in the end with a dive to his left and pouching it with his safe hands. He thought it's in the slot at middle and wanted to boom it down the ground, hit him high on the bat and rushed him, swing wasn't in control and the wickets continue to tumble. Cagey line and length at middle. 57/4

1.1 to JM Vince, Stumps shattered, what a sight for the bowler. Dismisses Gulf Giants' captain with a scorcher. Yorker that swung back from off and he couldn't get underneath. Farooqi finds his mojo after a forgettable last game. This is exactly what MI Emirates needed. 6/1 16.4 to Ibrahim Zadran, Zingers are alight! Gets the better of his countryman; slightly short and held its line outside off, Ibrahim shuffles across his stumps to ramp and ends up making a horrible mess of his stumps. 119/6 18.1 to MR Adair, Slices in the air and he didn't get the requisite distance, Muhammad Waseem takes a spectacular running catch at deep third and Adair has to go. It was bowled across off and he wanted to swat it out of the park. 135/7

10.6 to TP Alsop, Trying an outrageous stroke, wasn't really needed as they were doing it at a canter but too much adventure costs him his wicket. Slow back of the hand delivery tight at the stumps, he tries to ramp it away and gifts an easy catch to the keeper, didn't have the pace to execute the reverse scoop. Much-needed breakthrough for MI Emirates who were under the pump and the game has been drifting away from them. 85/3 12.3 to MG Erasmus, Sounds the death rattle! He has bowled well; deserved a wicket. Erasmus stood across middle and leg, trying to work it to the leg side and Rohid bowls a cracking slow ball and sneaked one through the gate, it hits the leg-stump, wonderful celebration and Gulf Giants have lost two wickets in a quick succession. Crucial breakthrough for MI Emirates who will grow in confidence, and I have a feeling this might go down to the wire. This is a must-win game for Giants if they want to stay in contention. 92/4

3.2 to JM Cox, Appeal for a caught behind and he doesn't need umpire's confirmation. Bowling change works. On a length and zings it back into his pads, he gets a nick, and the ball shaves the pad and then also carries to the keeper! Quite extraordinary and a unusual way to get out. 20/2 14.5 to SO Hetmyer, Touch short and slanting in at middle and leg, looked flustered and picks out Rohid at leg-slip and the reflexes are super sharp from the young gun fielder. Hetmyer didn't take that fielder into consideration and stood still, not believing he flicked it straight at Rohid and this game is far from over. Joseph gets the prized scalp. 104/5

19.5 to TK Curran, Disturbs the furniture! Curran backed away and he slung it full on off and it tickles the stumps, zingers are alight. He's not going to go down without a spirited fight; a good comeback after being dispatched for a six. 151/8
