17.4 to C Karunaratne, superb catch by Asalanka! Slower delivery dug into the track wide outside off. Karunaratne looks to flat-bat it over mid off but cannot get on top of the stroke as well as he would have liked. Splices it and Asalanka, haring in off the fence, completes the catch via a slide forward. 14.3 to GD Phillips, Phillips perishes too! Quick bumper on middle and off, and this gets big on Phillips. There is no room on offer too, meaning that he cannot free his arms. Cloths it and lobs it towards deep backward square leg, where Viyaskanth makes no mistake. Massive moment in the game, given the carnage Phillips is capable of causing!. 147/3 14.6 to S Samarawickrama, oh my days, what a catch! Put a cape on Fabian Allen! Hard length at the stumps, and this gets awfully big on Samarawickrama. He has a swipe across the line and shanks it off the toe-end. Goes straight up and does not even cross the circle in the mid wicket region. No problem for Allen, though. He comes tearing in off the fence, slides across the carpet and picks up the catch well above the ground. 2.5 to Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Gurbaz bites the dust, and Asitha Fernando is absolutely pumped! Banged into the track again, this time on middle and leg. Gurbaz looks to take it on but cannot quite get on top of it. Gets it slightly off the higher part of the bat and Omarzai does the rest at deep backward square leg. Big moment in the game, and you could hear through the stump mic how much Asitha enjoyed it!. 34/1 19.6 to DN Wellalage, castled by a full toss! On middle and leg, and Wellalage will feel he missed out there. Tries to access the leg side and only connects with fresh air. Stumps splattered, and the Strikers finish on 188!. 188/8 | ||||||||||

12.6 to NLTC Perera, Shamsi gets Thisara Perera! Pulls his length back and bowls it a little outside off, asking Perera to fetch it. He goes after it, because, well, why not. Does not middle it, though, and arrows it flat towards long on, who slides forward and pouches the chance. Avishka with the sharp grab, and the Strikers lose their skipper after a cameo!. 138/2 | ||||||||||

15.3 to Shadab Khan, appeal by Kusal Mendis, and the finger goes up! Shadab has reviewed, though! Tossed up nicely, on a full length just outside off. Shadab goes for the booming drive and there seems to be a side as the ball passes the bat. Mendis, after a couple of snatches at it, finally holds on and appeals, with the umpire also agreeing. Shadab certainly does not think so, and all eyes on the replays now. There is a clear spike when the ball is next to the bat, but the bat might have also hit the turf at the same point. This could be a tricky decision. The on-field call, remember, is out. No real gap between the bat and the ball, and the third umpire is happy Shadab nicked it. Shadab is not pleased but the Strikers, all said and done, are six down!. 149/6 | ||||||||||
