1.1 to SP Narine, And he strikes on first ball, disturbs the furniture with a perfect nip-backer, that landed fractionally short and jagged back just enough to beat his wild swing towards midwicket, beautiful sight for the bowler, a peach to start his spell, he seldom errs in his lines and lengths, big wicket!. 10/1 1.6 to UBT Chand, Miscues the skier! Flings it on short of a length and angles it across off, he tries to break the shackles and it didn't sound pleasing off the bat, got the outer half and Lockie Ferguson does the rest, takes a cool and calm catch with his shades on at mid-off, two wickets in the over, perfect start for Netravalkar and WSF! That's an unwise shot, premediated it, not really picking the length and forcing it down the ground. 12/2 15.3 to SH Johnson, Sounds the death rattle! Prances across his stumps for a paddle and couldn't time his shot. Netravalkar has the last laugh; deceived him with the slower cutter. That has been the story of LAKR's innings, just when someone looked to get going, they end up gifting their wicket. Still 27 deliveries left but only wicket in the tank.. 107/9 18.4 to Ali Khan, Swatted insolently off the backfoot but goes straight into the hands of Maxwell at deep midwicket who takes a fabulous running catch with his shades on. His ebullience comes to an end after 10 balls. Was a slowish shortish ball outside off, wanted to continue with his bullheaded ways but didn't get the distance on this occasion.. 129/10

2.3 to Shakib Al Hasan, Stumps shattered, what a sight for Maxwell, the change of angle works in his favor. Brilliant captaincy, the change has worked perfectly. Cross-seam delivery that went straight off the pitch and beat his defence, another prized scalp for WSF. LAKR in a pickle and they need someone to calm things down and it's time for some rebuilding. Shakib looks absolutely flummoxed. 13/3 10.2 to NR Kumar, Steve Smith takes a phenomenal catch at midwicket, a superman jump at short midwicket and the ball stuck in his hands, Nitish Kumar departs after a promising start. That was pitched on a length at middle and he wanted to clear the ropes, just didn't get the desired elevation, a laboured shot brings his demise. Wickets continue to tumble. 66/6 12.3 to AD Russell, Gives more air and tempts him to go big, he falls into the trap, trying to bludgeon him down the ground but got more height than distance, it was tantalizingly in the air and Ravindra charged in at deep extra, took a comfortable catch down his throat much to the delight of Maxwell. 87/7

4.2 to JJ Roy, Admonishes himself after trying to play a cheeky ramp and ends up making a horrible mess of his stumps! What is happening out there? Total carnage. He hits a hard length and the ball swerves in beating his adventurous shenanigans and seems bails flying everywhere. Now LAKR are in dire straits! Huge breakthrough. 18/4 13.1 to DA Miller, Over the wicket, hammered in and curling it away in the corridor, slashed away casually and it goes straight into the hands of backward point who dived forward and pouched it superbly, Holland with a brilliant catch. Miller took a couple of seconds before starting to take the long walk back to the pavilion, this is going from bad to worse, nobody really applying themselves and too many soft dismissals. 89/8

9.4 to Saif Badar, Another rapid delivery kicking and screaming from a good length and causing troubles, spun away ever so slightly from middle and Saif was a bit off-balance. What's the question here? Smith went for the review straightaway. Looked high in real time but DRS reckons it's three reds and it's smashing the middle. Ravindra manages to break the ominous partnership, they're batting so well and putting pressure back on the bowlers, credit to Ravindra for his cunning spinning methods, the quicker ones worked like a charm. 62/5

12.5 to R Ravindra, Short, wide, and his lit up. Swatted in the air and it was swirling, dipping but Saif made the ground quickly at deep backward point to take a tremendous diving catch, ball was swooping like a falling star but he made his ground in no time. 108/2

8.2 to TM Head, Knocked him over! Pulls his length back and gets it to cut across middle, clatters the off-stump and beats his attempted slog, gets the massive wicket of Head. The ball kept low but it was a fantastic cross-seam delivery.. 79/1 |
