2.3 to R Ravindra, top-edged to mid-on! Ravindra won't be going big tonight. Good ball, 141kph and kicking up from back of a length, it's on Ravindra before he can get through his attempted pull. Nearly drops short of Pathirana but he holds a tumbling catch going to his right. 13/1

14.3 to GD Phillips, plinked leg side - taken on the run! Phillips holes out looking to get on with it. He swishes his bat in frustration as he walks off, perhaps thinking it should have gone the distance with a cleaner hit. In the end, it skidded on to the toe of the bat before plopping into the hands of Nissanka at deep midwicket. 122/4

9.2 to TB Robinson, bowled 'im! Hasaranga sneaks a wrong'un through the gate to bring some respite for SL. Strangely tentative shot from Robinson, considering what he had done to the ball before. This time he's caught pushing uncertainly from the crease, beaten on the inside edge, hits middle and leg. 82/2 13.2 to MS Chapman, beautifully bowled! Chapman gives him the charge and is stumped by a distance. Tossed-up googler, outside off and going away from Chapman's arc as he swings wildly. Mendis is left with a very simple job to do behind the stumps. 116/3 |

18.3 to WIA Fernando, full, wide and slashed to third! If he'd left the ball it would have been a wide. Instead, Avishka breaks the wrists on a classy looking square drive and sends it down the gullet of the man back. SL lose their eighth, unfurling the white flag now. 141/8 18.4 to M Pathirana, and will walk straight back, nicked off the first ball! Henry picks up his second, as Hay takes a tumbling catch to his right. This is going down the gurgle rather quickly for SL. 141/9

9.1 to P Nissanka, gottim, Nissanka picks out short fine leg! Huge breakthrough for NZ, Duffy the man again. Slower ball into the pitch and he attempts to scoop, but can't generate enough power to clear the fielder on the edge of the ring. Well held by the diving Matt Henry, and the SL talisman departs. 71/2 15.1 to MDKJ Perera, timbeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrr! Duffy lands the yorker and torpedoes Kusal, just as the chase gets tight. He's been the danger bowler for NZ, and this is his second big breakthrough of the night. Round the wicket, full at the base of middle stump, and the zing bails go pop!. 127/4 17.1 to PW Hasaranga, another first-ball wicket for Duffy! A brilliant offcutter and Hasaranga is castled trying to play off the back foot. Chopped into the base of middle. Third wicket of the night for Duffy as NZ move a step closer to sealing the series. 136/6 17.3 to M Theekshana, plinked to long-off! SL are going down like a heap of dirty laundry once again. Mishit down the ground and Theekshana goes second ball. NZ can't get enough of that wonderful Duff. 136/7

19.1 to B Fernando, sliced to short third, that's all she wrote! Binura has a dip and squirts a thick edge to the man on the edge of the ring. New Zealand win by 45 runs and take the series, 2-0 up with one to play. 141/10

4.1 to BKG Mendis, swiped without timing, taken! Well held by Mitchell at cover as Chapman threatened to contest the catch. Santner strikes first ball, that's the breakthrough NZ wanted. Round the wicket, into the pitch and Mendis's eager hack doesn't clear the ring. 32/1 16.4 to KIC Asalanka, slog-swept... straight to deep backward square leg! Is that the game for NZ? Fired in and Asalanka can't get enough elevation as he targets the boundary. Could barely have picked out the boundary rider better. Off goes the SL captain, with his side's hopes waning. 135/5

11.4 to PHKD Mendis, another reverse-hit, but finds the man! Kusal's strength becomes Kamindu's weakness, hitting this too square and straight down the throat of Chapman at deep backward point!. 97/3
