0.1 to AD Hales, Comes over the wicket, oh my goodness, what a start! Alex Hales is stunned and so is Saim Ayub! Bowls a magnificent carom ball on a length that straighens a touch and disturbs the middle stump. Alex Hales goes without troubling the scorers! Genius move from Babar Azam to begin with spin!. 0/1 2.6 to C Munro, Slices this in the air and it's one big shot too many, got carried away. Floated up on a length and it slides across off, he got the toe-end of the bat, early through the thwack and Babar Azam settles under somewhere in the covers and pouches the skier comfortably. So after a couple of loose deliveries, Saim manages to get another breakthrough, Munro will be gutted with himself, he got plenty in this over and could have just remained calm and rotated strike but he tried make use of the width and cut it away, lost his shape while playing that shot. 28/2 | ||||||||||

16.5 to Shadab Khan, Gottim! Saim Ayub takes a gem at deep midwicket! Lovely change-up back of length delivery on middle, he yanks his front leg out of the way and pummels it but hasn't timed it well enough and Saim Ayub running from the deep snaffled that while lunging forward, he is a great all-round cricketer, can bowl in the powerplay, open the batting and is someone you can trust with the skiers in the deep - got a bright future!. 161/4 | ||||||||||

Now he thumped it into the surface and got it to rise steeply off the deck at middle and off, he gloved it to Salman Ali Agha at slip and Saim Ayub has to go. This is the quality of Naseem Shah! 3.1 to Mohammad Haris, Shimmies across off and tries to flick this past square leg but ends up giving a simple catch to short fine who didn't have to move much to gobble that up. Imad Wasim with a clean catch. It's a strange shot from Mohammad Haris but it's the powerplay and they want to make use of the fielding restrictions, Haris got in an awkward position and didn't have the pace to scoop that away, lost his control. Peshawar Zalmi in dire straits at 3/3. 3/3 18.1 to L Wood, Wickets continue to tumble. Short of a length pace-off ball right at his body as Wood skips down the track and then gets confused, doesn't know what to do so he top-edges it to keeper, Raees is such a canny customer, it was a back-of-the-hand slower one that got the better of him. 152/9 | ||||||||||
