2.6 to AD Hales, What a tremendous riposte! Spooned it straight to Rilee Rossouw at extra cover, he pouches it over his head and Akeal Hosein has the last laugh, pumps the air in ecstasy and is fired up! Hales couldn't lift it well enough to clear the fielder, just got carried away. 29/1 9.2 to Azam Khan, Soft dismissal! Tossed up and turning away from off, wanted to chip it over cover but handed a regulation catch straight to Rilee Rossouw at cover, Hosein is elated and Azam starts to take the long walk back to the pavilion. 7.2 to C Munro, Miscues the skier! Saud Shakeel and Sherfane Rurhterford collide at long-on but the latter manages to hang onto it brilliantly. All's well that end well. Was a fuller googly outside off, he went down on one knee and pumped high into the Lahore night sky but got plenty of elevation, not much distance - a timely wicket for Quetta that might just stem the run-flow. Good stuff from Abrar. 69/2 11.3 to Agha Salman, And another one bites the dust! Lousy delivery meandering on his pads and he gets down on one knee and sweeps it straight to Nafay who gobbles it up gleefully, big wicket because United would have expected him to steer the ship and hold one end but he gifts his wicket. 87/5 15.1 to Imad Wasim, Faint tickle as he tries to help it behind square on leg, brilliant take from Sarfaraz Ahmed. Captain departs early in the piece, was a length ball on fourth stump line, he heaves it in the air off the lower half of the bat, didn't time it well and has to go! Rams an attempted yorker outside off and he rasps it straight to Saud Shakeel at deep point who takes a screamer diving to his left, that's more like it, this is what we expect from the fielders in PSL. Wasim with arms aloft, rejoices the dismissal. Islamabad's hopes of getting to 160 dented with this wicket. 118/7 19.5 to Faheem Ashraf, Good length, whizzing away outside off, smoked down the ground but hasn't got the distance, Jason Roy pouches the skier reverse-cupped right over his head, tough to get underneath when he is generating that sort of pace, was not near the pitch. Faheem's ebullience comes to an end after 20. 138/8 19.6 to Rumman Raees, Sounds the death rattle! You miss, I hit. Bowls a brute of a delivery at a length and it skids on, stays low, clatters the leg stump, beating his massive yahoo across the line, Raees goes without troubling the scorers. 2.1 to Saud Shakeel, Prolonged appeal for an lbw but Aleem Dar walks away, not interested at all. Good length and curving in, rapped on the front pad and ricochets towards point, Shadab goes for the review. Clear gap between bat and pad as confirmed by the ultraedge, off-stump visible, pitching just in line, impact inline and hitting leg stump so IT TURNS OUT TO BE AN OUTSTANDING REVIEW. Naseem strikes with a beauty Gamble works for Shadab. 17/1 15.6 to SE Rutherford, Stumps shattered, what a great sight for Naseem, look away Rutherford! Naseem manages to find ways to get wickets, but is this too late? Islamabad have an opening. Was pitched short and tailed back viciously, he stepped down to get behind the line, guessing which way the ball was going to move and ended up making a mess of his stumps. 6.1 to JJ Roy, Hunain Shah on PSL debut starts off with a cracking delivery! Skiddy, pacy, hammered on short of a length and it holds its line outside off, he insolently tries to thump it across the line to midwicket and chops it back onto the stumps, this is exactly what Islamabad United needed to stay alive in this contest. 7.1 to Sarfaraz Ahmed, Adjudged lbw! Bowls a biting legbreak and he fails to sweep it away, didn't turn much and that looks plumb. Umpire didn't hesitate in raising the dreaded finger. Quetta in dire straits! Sarfaraz doesn't bother the review which is the right decision, would have crashed onto middle. Wow, the emotion, the pride, Shadab provides the breakthrough straightaway. Terrific start! Conditions will suit his bowling. 54/4 17.1 to Mohammad Wasim, Wohohoohoho! What's happening out there?
