22.2 to Salman Butt, Bollinger's done it! Another shortish ball but it wasn't short enough to pull, Butt went for it anyway and top-edged it, Haddin took a second or two to pick up where the ball was going, he then turned around, ran back a few paces and held on to the catch. 117/2 24.4 to Mohammad Yousuf, bowled him!! Superb short ball from Bollinger does for Yousuf. Bollinger got the ball to rise sharply from just short of a length, Yousuf jumped up to defend it, he got bat to ball but the ball bounced behind him and he watched it bounce on to the top of the stumps and dislodge the bails, I wonder why he didn't attempt to swat it away with the bat, he had loads of time to hit the ball away. 123/3

30.2 to Umar Akmal, edged and gone! Akmal has been troubled when the length is shorter and now he slashes at a short and wide one from McKay and Haddin takes an easy catch. 156/4 43.1 to Younis Khan, and he strikes immediately, short on the off stump and Younis goes for the pull, sends it straight into the palms of Shaun Marsh running in from deep square leg, judged it well. 221/6 43.4 to Mohammad Amir, edged and gone, Aamer has edged it straight to Haddin, in the channel outside off and he simply pokes at it, gets a thin nick, tame dismissal. 227/7
10 | 0 | 36 | 4 | 3.60 | 37 | 2 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
12.5 to Kamran Akmal, Kamran goes, a needless shot under the circumstances, a slower delivery, a legcutter bowled just outside off, tries to smash him over the in-field on the off side but failed to pick the change in pace and ended up skying it, Clarke and Ponting get underneath it but the deputy calls first and holds on to a well-judged catch. 62/1 40.1 to Shoaib Malik, Pakistan lose their fifth, similar dismissal to that of Umar Akmal, it's short and wide and he makes room to play a cut, gets a thick edge straight to Haddin. 205/5 46.6 to Shahid Afridi, Watson gets him with a short one, banged it in on the off stump and he tried to clear deep midwicket with a pull but didn't have much on this one, Hussey was perfectly positioned and took it comfortably. 269/8 48.6 to Saeed Ajmal, his eyes lit up as it landed on a length and he struck it fairly well too but straight down long-on's throat, didn't get the elevation he wanted, Watson's taken four, his best figures in ODIs. 274/9

8.4 to SE Marsh, Asif has struck, drew him into playing the drive, bowled it on a length outside off and he struck it loosely and in the air to mid-off where Rana took a simple catch. 37/2
9 | 0 | 29 | 1 | 3.22 | 36 | 0 | 0 | 2 | 0 | |
3.3 to SR Watson, done in for pace and bounce, what a snorter from Aamer, fired it on the off stump and nips back in sharply and catches the handle of the bat as he looks away and tries to fend it off, lobs straight to mid-on to give Pakistan the early breakthrough. 16/1
10 | 0 | 61 | 1 | 6.10 | 28 | 7 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
46.2 to CL White, foxed by the slower ball! Well done, out the back of the hand, pitches on a length, White makes room and heaves across, misses, and the ball shatters into off and middle, off walks White for a splendid century, well played man. 260/5

17.6 to RT Ponting, Ponting's innings comes to an end, it's flighted outside off and he's made to reach to play the drive, turns away and Ponting ends up getting a thick outside edge straight to Khalid Latif , the substitute fielder, at backward point. 84/3
