4.4 to DJ Malan, Emrit provides the breakthrough for Quetta. Welcome to Quetta, Emrit. Welcome to Lahore, Emrit. Sir Viv is animated in the Quetta dug out. Good length and holds its line outside off, from around the stumps, Malan attempts a back-foot force and this time he isn't lucky. Drags a thick inside edge back onto the stumps. 42/1 16.3 to Mohammad Hafeez, The Professor's lecture is over! Two fielders converge on the ball - deep midwicket running to his left and long-on running in - Nawaz pouches it running in from long-on. Emrit dug it short and outside off, Hafeez has to fetch a pull. Ends up skying a catch. 112/5 16.4 to Iftikhar Ahmed, Emrit produces a double-strike. Takes this third of the match. Nice and full, angled in from over the stumps, sort of skids on, Ahmed plays across the line and does not touch the ball. He is trapped in front of middle. This was plumb too. 112/6

10.1 to MN Samuels, bowled'em. Two wickets in two balls for Quetta. Samuels isn't the man of this final? Ripper from Nawaz. This one pitches on leg stump, opens Samuels up, eats him up for dinner. The left-arm spinner hits the top of off stump. Sharp turn. 82/3

9.6 to Kamran Akmal, Hassan hits back after being taken for three boundaries in the over. Quick arm-ball from the left-arm spinner. Kamran committed to the sweep and did not make contact. He was pinned in front of middle. As plumb as it can get. 82/2 11.3 to Khushdil Shah, Stumped off a wide. The left-arm spinners Hassan and Nawaz are turning the tables on Peshawar. Shah shows his ace early, dances out. Hassan pulls his length back significantly and darts it down the leg side. Leg-side wide. Shah can't touch it. Sarfraz does the rest. Excellent comeback from Quetta. 86/4 |

4.2 to Ahmed Shehzad, Hasan bounces out Shehzad. Quetta lose their top three inside five overs. Shehzad is being asked to wait. The umpires check for a possible no-ball. It looks tight. Think the foot is on the line. The benefit of the doubt should go to Hasan. TV umpire Raza ultimately sends Shehzad back. Quick short ball on off, aimed at the chest of Shehzad. He is late onto the pull, ends up top-edging it to midwicket. 13/3 16.3 to Zulfiqar Babar, Peshawar Zalmi are the champions of the second season of the PSL! The fireworks go off, and Sammy calls his boys for the selfie celebration. Then every Peshawar player attempts the Afridi star-man pose. The crowd goes berserk. Well done, Peshawar. They rejoice further. It was Hasan who set it up with the new ball and sealed it with the old one. This was full and right on the off stump. Babar looks to slug it away across the line. He only connects with a whole lot of thin air. The off stump is tilted back. 90/10

3.1 to Anamul Haque, The reprieve costs Peshawar just one run. Anamul holes out to long-off. Jordan is a quality fielder, be it in the slip cordon or in the outfield. Anamul uses his feet, does not get close enough to the pitch. He aimed to hit it squarer, ended up punting it straighter to long-off. 5/2 12.4 to SM Ervine, Asghar returns and takes down Ervine. He celebrates the wicket with a fist pump. Sammy is pumped too. Poor shot from Ervine. He backs away outside leg, exposing his stumps. Then looks to cut a ball that isn't really short. Looks to cut against the spin. Eventually, he does not make contact. The ball skids on and it's timbaaah. 72/6 12.5 to Mohammad Nawaz, stumping chance sent upstairs. Tossed up and drifts away outside off, drags Nawaz forward and goes past the outside edge. Kamran collects the ball and takes the bails off. Nawaz loses his balance and lifts his back leg. Seems like the foot is on the line by the time the bails come off. Tough one for Raza, the TV umpire. Out is the verdict. Two wickets in two balls, Peshawar are closing in on the title. 72/7

5.4 to Sarfaraz Ahmed, One shot too many from Sarfraz? He has to go. Hafeez leaves Quetta four down. Sarfraz rushes down the track and attempts a big hack. Hafeez lobs it up just outside off and gets it to dip at the charging batsman. Sarfraz misses, Kamran swipes the bails off. 29/4
3 | 0 | 16 | 1 | 5.33 | 5 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
14.4 to Anwar Ali, Peshawar are just two away from victory. No Anwar Ali rescue act. Short of a length and skids on outside off, Anwar is late onto the pull. He eyes up midwicket and ends up top-edging a catch to extra-cover. 81/8
3 | 0 | 13 | 2 | 4.33 | 10 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
7.2 to Saad Nasim, Quetta five down and sinking. One Lahore boy takes down another. Full on middle, the loft was on, but the execution was bad. The bat twisted in his hands, so Nasim got more height as opposed to distance. Picks out Ahmed at long-on. 37/5 15.6 to Hassan Khan, Peshawar are just one away from securing the title. Wahab beats another batsman for pace. Chest-hunting short ball on the leg stump, Hasan simply lobs a catch to Sammy at midwicket. 88/9
