Hendricks swivels as he tries to pull it, but he can't control the shot or keep it down and Akila holds a simple catch at fine leg. 91/1 44.2 to A Nortje, that's plumb. Vintage Malinga. I'm not sure if he's looking to cut or to drive, but he ends up spooning a high catch to a back-peddling Fernando at point. A bit of a nothing shot, really. 225/6 39.4 to DA Miller, Miller runs past one! He was down the track again, but not to the pitch, and the ball from de Silva gripped and spun past him as he groped at it. 20.3 to Q de Kock, taken by Dickwella! QDK gets a leading edge looking to whip a horrible delivery down leg side. Wants to get it over short fine but closes the face too early. Goes high and right on top of Dickwella. Simple take. Was shaping to be a memorable hundred, cut short tamely. 131/2 22.2 to HE van der Dussen, sensational diving catch from Rajitha! Bouncer outside off. Looks to hook but he's on the front foot. It's rising as he plays and he gets a top edge that is dipping rapidly as Rajitha runs in deep square. Keeps his eyes on it, gets low and lunges forward to hold on. Superb. 137/3 36.2 to F du Plessis, this keeps low! The ball landed a little short and du Plessis went back to pull, but it just scuttled through and pegged the off stump back. 220/5 | ||||||||||

2.3 to N Dickwella, that's the 100th ODI wicket for Rabada! Short of length this time aimed at the body, Dickwella gives himself some room and looks to pull it away, gets a top edge that skies towards the keeper, de Kock pedals back and takes it near his chest before falling backwards. 11/1 26.2 to DM de Silva, a soft dismissal, chipped to short midwicket, it was fuller on the stumps, Dhananjaya plays a half shot, fails to keep it down and du Plessis accepts a dolly. 116/6 30.5 to A Dananjaya, taken by midwicket running to his right! It is quick. It is short. It cramps the left-hander and even though he tries to make room, he mistimes the shot, a pull that comes off with the bat still turning in his hands. 5.1 to WIA Fernando, bowled'im! Crashed into the off stump! Length outside off, nips back, Fernando went for another pull but misses it altogether this time. Sri Lanka have lost both their openers now. 29/2 32.2 to SL Malinga, backs away and swats the short ball outside off straight to the substitute fielder Dale Steyn at cover point. 10.1 to MDKJ Perera, strikes first ball! And the Durban hero falls! Kusal Perera, the man who defied South Africa in the most epic manner not too long ago, is taken out by a ball measured at 145 kph on the speedgun. And yet it seems as if his undoing is because he is too early into the shot. The ball - back of a length on leg stump - seems to stick in the pitch and the left-hander, looking to flick it over midwicket, only ends up top-edging towards point where Miller runs in, dives forward and takes a splendid catch. 52/3 20.1 to BOP Fernando, a huge appeal for lbw and given by Shaun George! Oshada sends it upstairs immediately though. Length ball on the stumps and angling on to the pads, Oshada misses the flick and is hit on the pads. The front foot is fine. The ball pitched outside off, the impact is in front of middle and leg but it would have gone on to just clip the top of the leg stump. The umpire's call it is and that was out. 29.3 to NLTC Perera, gone this time!. Flighted again but it's a googly this time. Perera looks to go over long-off but ends up slicing it towards deep extra cover where Miller settles under it. It's finishing soon. 134/7 29.5 to CAK Rajitha, traps him lbw! Tahir's sprinted all the way to point. Didn't even bother to look at the umpire. His finger's up though. And this is special. This is Tahir's trademark. The quicker delivery. The googly. Pitching on off stump. Cutting back into the batsman - a batsman who thinks this will be a leg break and so he can go back and cut.
