1.2 to TM Dilshan, the leg stump has gone for an evening stroll. Ishant follows that corker up with a full and straight delivery, Dilshan looks to make room and play beside the line, the slightest of swings beats him and sends the leg stump cartwheeling. Ishant is all charged up. 10/1 12.5 to DPMD Jayawardene, slower ball gets Mahela here, who looks for another six and ends up skying it to long-off where Tyagi takes a safe catch. Smartly bowled, and gives India a chance to pull SL back. 141/4

7.5 to ST Jayasuriya, comes right in front of stumps and sweeps and misses a full delivery, always dangerous that shot as the ball is too full and has hit him on the half volley, right in front of the stumps. Relief for India. 91/2

10.6 to KC Sangakkara, and the birthday boy strikes, this time looks to go over midwicket again but gets too much under it and gets more height than distance. Also he is a touch late into the shot, hitting it straighter towards long-on. 121/3 14.3 to CK Kapugedera, Yuvraj gets two on birthday, and again slowing down the pace helps him, Kapugedera looks for the big slog over midwicket, and has no pace to work with, and ends up holing out to deep midwicket. India inching back and trying to keep SL to a manageable total. 155/5 16.1 to CU Jayasinghe, a feline innings come to an end - almost nine lives he had - plays a pick-up shot from the leg-stump line, and this time Jadeja holds onto it. Yuvraj is personally having a nice 28th birthday. 167/6 |

10.6 to V Sehwag, he has holed out in the deep, excellent over for SL, four runs and Sehwag's wicket. Another slower ball, Sehwag's idea is right in going straight but he gets too much elevation and long-on has enough time to come around and hold on to it. 108/2

16.6 to MS Dhoni, superb yorker, inswinging, beating the high backlift. The stumps are in a mess. But the question is, has this come just in time or is too late?. 188/3
