2.5 to Mohammad Shahzad, and Shahzad has to go now. Mathews has done the trick. Stuck to his line and length and Shahzad could not resist another massive heave. He backs away and looks for a pull into the leg side but a bit of outswing helps take a leading edge which lobs up for mid-on to take. Not a great shot, an uncomfortable stay ends.. 12/1 | ||||||||||

16.3 to Samiullah Shinwari, Shenwari holes out this time. Pretty good line that, full and wide outside off. Shenwari backs away just a touch, and goes after it. gets under it sufficiently but not enough power behind the lofted drive. 8.1 to Noor Ali Zadran, bowled im, around his legs. Herath fires one full and quick on leg. Noor Ali shuffles across and misses his premeditated sweep. The ball spins to hit the side of leg stump. A decent innings but lacked fluency.. 44/2 10.6 to Mohammad Nabi, given, Afghanistan's struggles are continuing. Flat on middle, and skids on with the arm to strike Nabi plumb in front. 9.3 to Karim Sadiq, gone. Sadiq's iffy stay has ended now. All gone to pieces. Runs down to the pitch, looking for another big slog down the ground. Gets a faint edge which is gleefully accepted by Chandimal.. 46/3 18.4 to Shafiqullah, dragged to deep midwicket. Shafiqulalh, trying to get under one just like his captain, does so but fails to time the delivery. More of the inside half and it carries all the way with that angular bat. 132/6 18.6 to Asghar Stanikzai, gone. End of a sensational knock from Stanikzai. Went down for a cheeky ramp this time, but Perera sticks to his length - full and wide - and forces Stanikzai to alter is stroke.
