7.1 to DN Wyatt, nicked and gone! The break does the trick and Kapp, like countless times before, breaks through for the Capitals! Length in the sixth or seventh stump channel and the ball seems to seam away a smidgen. Wyatt-Hodge goes fishing at it away from her body and without much conviction and nicks it through for Bryce to pouch. A vital wicket, given the head of steam this partnership was generating and the crowd, unsurprisingly, is stunned!. 53/2 | ||||||||||

1.5 to S Mandhana, edged and taken! And a hush descends on the Chinnaswamy because their captain is walking back! This is on a length and curving away deliciously. Not as full as the previous ball to drive but Mandhana goes fishing at it anyway. Manages a thick outside edge and Lanning gobbles up the chance at wide slip. Mandhana's woes continue, and DC are on the board relatively early!. 9/1 17.3 to KS Ahuja, goes straight up, and another RCB batter bites the dust! Off-pace again and this is hung up outside off. The length tempts Ahuja into a big lofted shot down the ground but the lack of pace means she cannot get the power nor the distance. 16.1 to Raghvi Bist, Raghvi Bist runs past one, and Charani has her maiden WPL wicket! This is superbly bowled. On a length outside off, with enough revs to make it drop well in front of Bist. The batter advances without really reading the flight and is well off the pitch of the ball, which turns past the outside edge, with Bryce doing the rest!. 119/3 16.5 to RM Ghosh, goes a mile up, and Charani has two in the over! And this is a massive, massive wicket! Dangles the carrot on a full length just outside off. Ghosh looks to tonk it into tomorrow but cuts across it a little too much.
