Dawlat seals Afghanistan's thrilling win! They topple Bangladesh for the second time, having beaten the hosts earlier in the 2014 Asia Cup. Short of a length and outside off, Zadran swings for the hills and sends an outside edge over backward point
Bangladesh vs Afghanistan, 2nd ODI at Dhaka, Sep 28 2016 - Ball by Ball Commentary
Afghanistan won by 2 wickets (with 2 balls remaining)
10.40pm With this victory, Afghanistan force the series into the decider. Shakib's double-strike in the fourth over threw the visitors' chase off track. But Stanikzai and Nabi gave the team direction with a century stand for the fifth wicket. Both the set batsman exited in successive overs, and Afghanistan suffered late hiccups. Dawlat, however, dragged them past the line with two balls to spare. Phew, that was some finish!
Presentation:
Mashrafe: Batting wasn't up to the mark. The wicket was on the slow side, and after getting 20-30 runs, somebody should have made a big score. 240 would have been a good score. Mosaddek played his first ODI and batted really well with the tail-enders. Bowled well too. We will have come back hard. Congratulations to Afghanistan.
Stanikzai: This match, the credit goes to the team. Nabi and Rashid bowled really well. The ball reversed in the end, but Najib did the job for us.
Nabi, Man of the Match: It was not an easy match. It was not an easy pitch, and playing in Bangladesh [isn't easy]. The pitch was good for spinners, Shakib bowled brilliantly. We din't finish the game well, but hopefully we will learn from the last two matches.
That is all we have for you from this game. Thanks for reading. Do come back for the series-decider on Saturday. Goodbye and good night!
Brutus_Shylock: "Wins like these will only help Afghanistan Cricket, Meanwhile Bangladesh can no longer take excuse of rustiness. They have raised the standard for their fans last season already, this shoddy work won't do."

koti reddy: "Great win by Afganistan and the head to head win record between these two sides now stand at 2-2."
Tim: "These sides are really evenly matched. That isn't a sledge on Bangladesh, Afghanistan have risen to lower tier Test team.
mashraf: "What a nerve breaking contest. I enjoyed it only by reading the commentary, imagine how spectacular it was if watched live."
