1.5 to MDKJ Perera, Edged and Bangladesh have another! Mahedi pitches this outside off from around the wicket, and it's pushed through quick and flat. Perera though is tentative on the back foot and just pushes at this away from the body. Thick edge and taken gleefully by the slip fielder. 19/2 4.3 to LD Chandimal, Mahedi has another! And Sri Lanka are in a bit of a hole here. This was a good length outside off, and Chandimal looks to drag this over that mid-on midwicket region. It's a big gap there, but Bangladesh have set the trap and Chandimal takes the bait. This one is a top edge that goes straight up as Jaker at point makes no mistake. 34/3 7.4 to KIC Asalanka, Mahedi you beauty! He's running through this Sri Lankan batting lineup! This was borderline unplayable. Came from around the wicket, pushed this through on length, and it straightens just enough to beat Asalanka's outside edge as he looks to defend on the back foot. Doesn't miss the off stump though, which is flattened. 49/4 10.3 to P Nissanka, Mahedi has done it again! And it's the big scalp of Nissanka! What a return to T20Is it's been for Mahedi, dream script in Colombo for the offspinner! This was a good length around off, and Nissanka looks to drive this down the ground. But it sticks in the surface and all he can do is chip this back to Mahedi, who makes no mistake. 66/5 | ||||||||||
