Alright peeps, that's it from this game! Catch you tomorrow with more PSL action. Goodbye for now and a Happy Easter to those who are celebrating!

Shadab Khan, Player of the Match: As a team, the way we planned, drafted our squad, we took the conditions and weather into consideration. Both teams got fooled by the pitch; we expected it to seam but the ball remained low. Thought we assessed the conditions really well. It wasn't easy to bat but Azam and Sahibzada gave us great starts which made it difficult for Karachi. It was difficult to play across and we talked how to target straighter boundary and I think we played really well. We need to pick more energy in the field and there's a margin of improvement in the bowling but we don't need to make any big changes. Squad members are ready and they know they could be asked to play anytime.

Islamabad with another statement win--a one-sided affair. The victory was set up by a phenomenal, concerted bowling effort, as both the spinners and pacers exploited the conditions brilliantly and never allowed Karachi Kings to break free. Chasing a modest 129, Islamabad faced no scoreboard pressure and simply gyrated their way to a comfortable win. Islamabad are going from strength to strength in this competition and remain the side to beat--every base is covered and all engines are firing at full throttle. On the flip side, concerns for the Kings. Their performances swing between highs and lows, with not much consistency. It was a below-par total and in many ways, the game was done right there. IU adjusted to the conditions quickly, and the bowlers were spot on. The same can't be said for KK, who were under the pump throughout, with a slim total that was never going to be enough to defend

Kashif Iqbal : "i think shadab should let young batsmen to bat "

What just happened there, thumb got stuck in his pocket perhaps and he will have to reload, got stuck in his follow through

W
Abbas Afridi to Shadab, OUT

Abbas slings a heat-seeking yorker and flummoxes Shadab; middle-stump askew as Abbas celebrates with vigor; rare bright spot for Kings today

4
Abbas Afridi to Shadab, FOUR runs

Sensational stroke; back of a length at middle, backs away and scythes it away in the gap at backward point for a run scores are level

16.4
1
Abbas Afridi to Nawaz, 1 run

can't pounce on the freebie, full yorker aimed and dug out to long-on

Abbas Afridi to Nawaz, (no ball)

Jinxed him, eh? Snorter of a short ball but way down the leg side, given as a no-ball

16.3
Abbas Afridi to Nawaz, no run

Over-rate has been good in this match. Over the wicket, excellent short ball rising steeply off the deck and he manages to fend it down to cover-point, nice bit of aggression from the bowler; bowlers needed more runs to defend, can't fault KK's bowling attack much

16.2
1
Abbas Afridi to Shadab, 1 run

Short ball and well outside off, forehands it down to mid-off for a run, just 7 away from a big win

16.2
1w
Abbas Afridi to Shadab, 1 wide

Oh, the idea was good but execution not quite perfect. back of a length and seams away from the tramline on off, he charged and tries to cut

16.1
4
Abbas Afridi to Shadab, FOUR runs

Over the wicket, back of a length and outside off with no swing and seam movement, he springs down the track and belts it down the floor to long-off boundary; great day for Shadab

1
M Nabi to Shadab, 1 run

Down on one knee again and sweeps it towards long leg

15.5
M Nabi to Shadab, no run

Tries to help it along its way to deep fine and misses it

15.4
M Nabi to Shadab, no run

keeps it nice and tight at middle, blocked

15.3
4
M Nabi to Shadab, FOUR runs

Change of stance and a deft touch brings another boundary, like the finesse and calmness in this shot, no chance for deep third to cut it off

15.2
M Nabi to Shadab, no run

Around the wicket, slowed it up, length ball at middle, plants his front leg and quiets it with forward defence

15.1

Driven along the carpet to long-off

Kashif Iqbal : "I don't understand when regular batsman are available why shadab is coming for batting in this situation." He has got a good record in PSL, think he makes a strong case to bat up the order

14.6
1
Hasan Ali to Nawaz, 1 run

Bit short and brings it back to middle, tight line, he is equal to the task though, presses it away to mid-off and scurries through a run

14.5
Hasan Ali to Nawaz, no run

Curling it back through the gate, very tight off-stump line, blocked resolutely

14.4
Hasan Ali to Nawaz, no run

Banged in short in the channel, rising and rising and left alone for the keeper to collect; well over his head, looked wide to me

14.3
4
Hasan Ali to Nawaz, FOUR runs

Around the wicket, slightly short around the line off, lofts it over bowler's head for a four, this makes equation a lot easier, just a stand and delivery smack and it flutters away to the rope

14.2
1
Hasan Ali to Shadab, 1 run

No slip which is a surprise. Shorter delivery on middle and leg, calmly swivels and rolls his wrists to pull it away in front of deep square

Anwaar: "30 runs to defend on 42 balls. warner brought in nabi too late. " I agree

Bilal Anwar : "@John: May be due the presence of two Right handers at the crease, Warner is preferring Khushdil over Nabi. But still Nabi is experienced enough to face two Righties and tighten them up."

14.1
Hasan Ali to Shadab, no run

Over the wicket, spears in a yorker on fifth stump line, opens the blade and carves it away to short backward point
