Sathvik tries to stand tall and loft it over mid on but the ball gets big on him. Splices it and the ball floats towards Ashwin at mid on. He tracks it all the way and then sprawls forward to his left to snare the chance. Ashwin setting the tone for his side, and the Tamizhans in a bit of bother now!. 31/2 | ||||||||||

3.3 to Tushar Raheja, beautiful bowling! Slowed up devilishly on a length just outside off. Raheja skips down the track, looking to smash it into the sea. Gets nowhere close to the ball and the ball turns enough to take it past the outside edge. The keeper whips off the bails in a flash, and Raheja is stranded. 6.3 to B Anirudh, taken on the fence! Full on off, and Anirudh looks for the sweep. Does a no-look impression but does not get the contact that sort of reaction demands. Clinks it high up and deep backward square leg, running in, does the rest. The Tamizhans lose another!. 33/3 13.1 to MK Bafna, Bafna falls, and the Tamizhans slide further into peril! Tossed up on a length outside off and Bafna's eyes light up. He lines up the big slog but he is always working against the angle. Clinks it off the toe-end and Kishoor, running around to his right from deep mid wicket, makes no mistake!. 80/6 15.1 to S Ganesh, Ganesh perishes too! Vignesh has three! Fired in full and wide outside off. Ganesh gives himself even more room and looks to go inside out. Cannot keep it down, though, nor can he get under it enough to clear Ashwin. 7.3 to S Radhakrishnan, edged and did that carry?! Looks like it! Back of a length in the channel. Perfect Test match line and length. Straightens against the angle and induces the outside edge as Radhakrishnan prods at it. Gets a nick and Indrajith, stooping down low, gobbles up the chance, inches off the turf. But hang on. Hang on...they are having a look. Seemed to be a clean catch and that assessment stands. Radhakrishnan is walking back to the shed!. 35/4 18.6 to S Ajith Ram, off stump flattened! Laser-guided yorker on off stump. Ajith Ram, rather ambitiously, looks for the scoop. Gets across his stumps and in truth, gets too far across. Cannot access the ball thereafter, which thunders into off stump and leaves it in a mess. Dragons one wicket away from bowling out the Tamizhans!. 105/9 | ||||||||||

8.2 to R Sai Kishore, Sai Kishore bites the dust! Tossed up invitingly outside off. Sai Kishore looks at the flight and thinks of depositing this into the stands. Does not get to the pitch, though, and tugs across it too much. Skews off the outer half of the bat and Bhati completes a simple catch at short third!. 38/5 14.1 to S Mohamed Ali, goes straight up, and the Tamizhans are seven down! Googly fizzed into the slot on middle and off. Ali has a massive mow across the line but gets it horribly wrong.
